I have thick wavy to curly and coarse hair. I do like using this iron to style instead of a dryer and brush. Make sure you put your styling product on just before using. Somedays I can get away with just the iron dryer and some hair spray. But If I need a polished look I have to pull out the flat iron to get the really shiny smooth result. I would purchase again and Folica.com does a wonderful job, I have used them twice.

I have a lot of course wirey (dyed) grey hair. This dryer straightened all my hair making it smooth and shiney for the first time in 15 years. My hair looks great making me look 15 years younger. It is so easy to use, and really delivers what it promises. I have even purchased a second one, just in case something happens to the one I have.

I received this for this past Christmas, and I couldn't be happier! I've used it everyday since the 25th, and my hair looks so good! It dries and straightens all in one go. I have no problems with it at all. I think for those who have problems with it, maybe you should get the other version - the one designed for longer hair. This works great with my short hair (it's up to my chin). I have nothing bad to say about this product (and I usually don't like Conair)!
Luvit! Perfect Drying and Styling Tool

I bought this about a year ago. I decided to write a review after reading some of these comments because I think this is a great product. It will straighten your hair Easier than a blow dryer and a brush. It will dry it Faster than a regular blow dryer while also cutting down on your styling time, if you have frizzy hair. It does not make it super straight like a flat iron, it just cuts down your styling time by half because it straightens it some before you flat iron or curl it. It works better than dryers with comb/brush attachments because the comb part is intergrated and does not fall off when pulled.
It is not a miracle dryer/straightener. It won't dry your hair and leave it flat iron straight, I don't know any product that will (unless, of course your hair is naturally flat iron straight). As for split ends, I think that has more to do with conditioning. Thermal protecter sprays and conditioners will help with that.

I have long hair and it sucked my hair up the bottom and I had to cut a huge chunck of my hair off! not as good as it looks. Also does not get out tangles very well.
it's great!

I love it :) It's so easy to use and affordable. It comes with a DVD to show you how to use it, and once you've found your correct tension setting and use it a few times, it's so fast and easy!

I am African American and I have long natural hair, I have spent hundreds of dollars on hair products that will make washing and drying my hair by myself easy, all to no avail. The few times I have tried washing my hair by myself, I end up almost crying in frustration, so I always have to go to the salon to do a wash and blowdry. That is until now, I used this product for the first time 12/24/07 and I was so happy, I was actually smiling while drying my hair, for me, I used it more as a dryer than a straightener and I believe I dried my hair in about 5 minutes, used to take my hours before. My hair did get straighter than it would with a regular dryer, but not as straight as with a flat iron. Whatever the case might be, I love it love it love it. I can now wash and dry my hair by myself.

this product is not worth ur money. you might as well buy a 14.99 dollar hairdryer and not use any prodtucs or brush thats the results of this if u have thick curly hair!!

I love it! It does exactly what it says it will do, and then some. I have received more compliments on my hair since I've started using it than ever before. In my humble opinion, it is easier to use than a blowdryer and takes less time to dry my hair. I couldn't be happier!
great dryer/straightener!

I am African American with relaxed hair and this dryer worked great on my hair! My hair was very silky and shiny and this dryer is lighter and easier to use than a regular dryer.

I love this Infiniti straightener! It takes a while to dry your hair if totally wet, but I dry for a couple of minutes with the hairdryer before I start styling and drying with this straightener. I don't need a curling iron or anything - just the straightener. It is lightweight and easy to use. Works like a dream.
I love it with the right products!

I use this with a silicone serum and Marc Anthony simply straight smoothing cream. I think because of the direct heat and ceramics plus the tension of pulling your hair you have to use something to protect your hair from heat damage. I can comb my hair with a fine tooth comb after this! And that's enough to get my seal of approval
this works just fine

I have used this hot air brush and I feel that it really works good. It has several settings that are very easy to use when styling your hair...the brush grips your hair tight no matter which direction that you are styling your hair in. ..it works similar to the Infinity hair dryer but much easier to use since it's a brush and easy to hold and handle..anything really hot will give you split ends but there is a setting on it that is low that also works just fine...I kept this brush dryer and I am happy with it...it does exactly what it says on the box...a good product!!

Best Hair Dryer/Straightener Ever

I've used and wasted so much money on other straighteners and none of them were able to achieve the look I wanted. This combo is the best ever -- it's so easy to use and doesn't take any longer to dry my hair than a normal hair dryer. The bonus is that it straightens exceptionally well too. The first time I used it, people thought I had gone to a salon. Well worth the money!
