comb through | voltage for hair straightener
I am going on vacation to brazil and I wanted to know if this item works with 220 voltage or does it only work with 110 voltage. Question posted by Petra Fri Aug 24 2007 Submit your answer can you curl your hair with it
i already have straight thick hair. i wanted to ask can you curl with this strightener like u can with the others. Question posted by lina Tue Aug 21 2007 Submit your answer Does it create Frizz?
Does this hairdryer/straightener create frizz when it dries your hair, because i have tried to blow dry my hair straight instead of using a hair dryer and all it did was create more frizz. So i am wondering if it makes your hair frizzy when you have thick curly, frizzy hair already. Question posted by O Fri Jul 27 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Jen

It does make it a little frizzy, about the same as a hairdryer. If you use this, give your hair a lot of leave-in conditioner. | works for African American hair?
I'm black and have mildly chemically straightened hair that's just below the shoulder. I usually use the Baybliss professional stand dryer with rollers--works GREAT, but takes an hour (my hair is thick). Would like an alternative, especially for traveling. Has anyone out there with black hair tried this? Thanks for your input. Question posted by Karen Bates Fri Jul 27 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Krystal

It does work on African American hair. I used it on my 11 year old daughter's relaxed hair. It works just like a regular blow dryer and it's lighter and easier to use. It just may take longer to dry your hair. | | Reply by lisa

I am African American with relaxed hair below my shoulder. It is wonderful, but not as powerful as the bigger infiniti. So I do not have to do as many strokes I use my Aveda Brilliant Anti Humectant Pomade- just a dab for each section. Your hair wiill be straight without frizz. | brunt head
dose this straightener burnt your heand when you comb it through your hair? Question posted by Tara Fri Jul 13 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Jen

This is a two-handed job: you need to hold your hair away from your head and style it in sections. It doesn't work if you try to use it in the way that you would brush your hair with a regular hairbrush. It doesn't get as hot as an iron but it's still hot. I've never burned myself with it though. | noise
