I used curling irons for a while, and this one is one of the best.It is a little on the heavy side, but it has a wide temperature range and it leaves the hair silky and shiny. It doesn't snag the hair like other irons and it heats up fast.Overall a good tool for the money.
Looking for replacement; This is not it!!!!

The metal and ceramic coating is cheap. Curls are limp. Not worth the investment. I am currently looking for new better curlers to replace my old gold N hot ceramic. This is not it. I am currently looking at the CHI.
Great Curling Iron

My hairstylist recommended this curling iron as a great tool at a decent price- and she was right. Prior to this iron I'd had a cheapy one that was terrible; the extra 20 bucks for this one is well worth it- I've had it for two years, three moves, and a big break-up (yes, I accidentally threw it out the window with our gym bag)and it's still like new. It heats up really well and my fine flat hair stays curly into the evening. It's much more dependable than Marcus ever was!

Love this curling iron. It heats quickly and maintains the heat. It has a wide range of heat options. The cool end tip and spring load handle is great and gentle with my arthritic hands. Had one that was not spring loaded and could not manage. Clip doesn't pull the hair however it does hold the hair strands in place to curl. Best curling iron I have purchased no matter the cost!

I bought this curling iron for my GF because her hair is really thick that a normal curling iron can't handle. However, this curling iron gives her a beautiful, long lasting curls within 10 seconds. Her curl still look pretty after sleeping on them overnight.

This iron is great! It heats quickly. The barrel is a great size for people with med. to long hair because it allows you do extra big pieces at once. It makes makes my hair very smooth and silky and I have very, very porous frizzy hair, and living in Florida with out high humidity I am sure I will be using this a lot when the summer rains & humidity rolls around.

I purchased the 1.5" Barrel Curling Iron. I am pleased with its performance; however, my hair is so long and heavy it wouldn't take a curl very well, but it did remove frizz and gave my hair more body. I liked it so much I ordered the 1" Barrel in hopes that it will take the curl better. I had a 1/2' barrell (not from Folica) but from a drug store that worked fairly well but took longer to heat and seemed to cool after curling a few strands of hair, The 1.5" barrel did not cool at any point. I look forward to getting my 1" barrel unit!
I REAllY don't like this one

THis iron is tooo hot!! Even at the lowest setting it burns my head. It is probably good for very thick hair, but I have fine hair and this thing is cruel. I can't imagine that it would be good for anyone's hair, but maybe I just don't know about really thick hair. I don't care for the clip either, it pulls my hair. Have tried other and this goes to the bottom of my list.
Very good

This iron curls creates a quick and lasting curl; however, it does not clamp onto hair firmly enough. The spring should be tighter, or this might be due to the smoothness of the ceramic finish; it may get better with use. I only had it a couple of days. I'll see what it does.
Very Satisfied!!!

I have been looking for this curling iron in several locations. In local salons I could find it at the cheapest of $99.00. I was so pleased with Folica.com service and prompt delivery. The curling iron works great. My hair couldn't hold a curl if my life depended on it, and with this iron the curl stay throughout the whole day. I love the option of temperature adjustment and the free travel holder! I would definitely recommend the product and the website! :) Thank you.

Didn't seem any better than a $10 drugstore iron. Not smooth at all on my hair.

I have naturally curly hair and use a flat iron to straighten my hair. I wanted a curling iron to curl the ends or create looser curls. This iron worked perfectly. It didn't damage my fine hair (other irons have wripped out the hair). Also the curls lasted all day. My hair usually doesn't take a curl once it is flat ironed, but with this iron, it did. I was even using it at a low temperature setting since my hair is fine and thin.
I love this curling iron!

I've only used this curling iron for a few days, but I love it! It gets super hot but doesn't seem to burn my hair. It's easy to handle, light weight, and heats up fast. I'm sure I'll buy another one after I beat this one up.
good but heavy

The curling iron works GREAT but it really is heavy so I am finding myself using my old one instead, even though it does not work as well. But if it weren't so heavy, it would be perfect.
Returned it without trying it

I hated the hole in the top of the unit. I would have gotten burnt there many times since I use the tip to guide. I could not believe this had a finger size hole in it. I have no idea how the product works but I knew before trying it I would have trouble. Ended up buying a bablyliss so we shall see.
