right after i finished using this my hair was kind of ugly and i looked like a poodle. but after a couple hours the waves werent as intense and it looked natural. so now i just wave my hair a couple hours before im planning on going out, then by the time i leave my hair looks really good.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product its awesome!!
But a helpful hint to make the waves defined and for them to stay in place what i do is spray each strand with hair spray before u wave it it may sizzle but my stylist told me thats ok as long as u put a protective spray in ur hair before hand...if u dont put the protective spray on wet hair blowdry ur hair for a couple mins after u put it in to set the product....after ur done wavin i suggest getting a curl inhansing mouse and put that in ur hair scrunching ur hair up as u do it :)

I think this is a great product. It is a professional product, which is why you all are not used to the marcel handle and not being able to hold the tip. Get the hang of it, it's easy.

I have straight fine hair and i wanted to add a little
bit of waves in. I bought this product & returned it
because it is crappy. Didn't satisfy me. 1st- It is
hard to hold the handle. 2nd- It doesn't steam or
wave your hair at all. 3rd- It makes it look
like you got electrocuted.

I bought this product thinking it would leave my hair nice and wavy or curly. It did the waves but it was very frizzy and dry, overall poofy and ugly.
The only good thing about this product is it gets hot enough to wave/curl the hair. Other than that, its a waste of metal.

I was not impressed with it at all. I have straight, fine hair and wanted to add a little wave. All it did was make my hair look like I had been in humidity for too long!! It made it frizzy looking and hardly wavy! Not impressed at all!!

I've had my waver for about two years now and I love it. I have long thick straight hair and every once in a while when I get bored with it and start craving waves and curls this waver does the trick. It does take a while to do though, but like I said, I have long thick hair.

I have a lot of straight hair. If I try to do it myself, it takes forever and I can only do it "well" by taking small sections at a time... If I have my friend do it, it looks great and takes less time!!!!

This curler has done great for me i can wear my hair wavy/curly and wild just like my boyfriend likes it! I recommend this product to anyone! I have mixed hair so it gets hot enough for my texture of hair! I am a fan of all hot tools products!

this curling iron made my hair very puffy and the only way not to make it puffy is by adding tons of hair spray and gel. i didn't like this iron because its like a crimper and that type of look is outdated.

I did not like this product. I have thick hair...so maybe that's the problem. Anyways, I tried using this a couple times, and each time, it left my hair all frizzy and very very dry.

This iron does what it says! It's easy to use and it gives you a FULL head of curls/waves fast. I was just playing with it when it first came and I only did the top layer of my hair and woahhhhhhhh it looked like I had a perm! It brought back memories of when spiral perms were the bomb. LOL I have long thick hair and this really held the curl! Most irons never work on my hair unless I'm using them to smooth out waves but this one DEFIFINITELY worked. I bought a different 3 barrel waver a couple years ago at a department store and I tried it once and gave it away. It just did not get hot or make any impression in my hair. It was silly to have it sitting around taking up that much space in my bathroom when it didn't even work. Blah. I think I need to play with this iron a little more to figure out what style works best for me but like the other reviewers said, you won't be sorry if this is a look you are going for. You just need to experiment with it a little I think.
Triple Barrel curling very hard to use on curly hair

i bought this from Harris scarfes and it is a triple barrel curling iron i tried it myself and found it very hard to use. If you have curly hair don't buy this one your hair will look like a mssive wig.

I don't know how much money and how many years I spent getting perms and other treatments to try and make my hair do what this iron makes it do in 10 minutes. Gives my stick-straight hair a nice wavy look. Has two settings, which is unusual for a hot iron--low for damaged hair, hot for the healthy stuff.

When i first started using it I didn't think it was going to work just by the looks of the first strand but after wards it started coming out more and the waves stayed in so long, I did them yesterday and they are still in my hair and I've also gotten many compliments. This product is awesome. Thank you so much.

Don't use this iron if you have naturally curly hair. If you can usually straighten or do fun things with your curly/stright hair be careful with this one because this iron will make your hair a huge puff ball after 5 min.
