yes it does cause i have 4 sisters and we all use the same waver wen we go out and we all have different hair types like frizzy, thin, thick, and curly and it works on all of us so you dont have to worry about that it works well on all of us its a great product and i would really reccommend it!!!!

Yes and no they are 120v in the US and in the UK you use 220v, so without a converter you will burn out the curling iron. It will just stop working in about a month or two depending on your usage. You can get a converter at lewisnclark.com, I have owned two of these curling irons and they are simply the best money can buy. Enjoy!
