Bought this hair dryer because I had heard Hot Tools was a good brand and what do you know after 3 months of use it stopped heating up. I will never purchase another Hot Tools product!

I bought this dryer 10/07 and really liked the way it dried my hair. Then Feb '08 it stopped heating up (only 5 months young). Sent it back to Folica (cost me $10 to ship) and then Folica wants another $9.95 processing fee! Hmm, I already wish I hadn't bought this expensive, defective hair dryer.

Plastic piece broken off when received. Functions were not as varied as described. Didn't find this dryer to be worth the price asked. Nothing special about it.

I have had no issues with this dryer as I have used it everyday for the past 4 months!! If you have fine hair, this dryer works great and it has drastically cut down time on drying on MY HAIR. I have long, straight shoulder length hair that is layered on top. Bottom line, I am thrilled with this product.

I bought this dryer for my mom early September. It is now Jan 4,2008 ( four months later) and she called me to say that the dryer was smoking up on her and she shut it down so it wouldn't catch on fire. I paid a pretty penny for this to be smoking up like that. I purchased this brand because my mom originally owned their twenty five dollar dryer and was pretty ok with it. Now I am stuck trying to get some recourse because of course I didn't save the invoice. Hopefully, the manufacturer will live up to the warranty. Piece of junk. Mind you my mom is 65 years young, with thinning hair cut in a short bob. So it's not like she burned the heck out of it. Maybe she used it every other day for 8 to ten minutes???? Take the chance and buy it if you dare. Save your invoice and the box. You never know.

with this dryer and that is the cool shot button! It is very hard to push for me - I do have some arthritis in my hands - so it may not be this way for everyone. Otherwise, I like the dryer!

I was a little sceptical when I read that this dryer would dry my hair faster than cheaper dryers, but I am a believer now. I have a lot of fine hair which has always taken forever to dry, but this dryer has really sped up the process. It also leaves my hair silky and not frizzy at all.
The best dryer ever! LOVE IT!

Beautiful, wonderful hairdryer! It's the middle of the summer, and my hair usually takes forever to dry--but this dryer is super FAST! The ion technology is far better than in any previous dryer I've owned. Lightweight, gorgeous purple color--my favorite. Also, the low EMF is a plus, and one of the main things I've wanted in a new hairdryer. And the price can't be beat. Why pay over a hundred dollars for any other dryer when this one performs to perfection? (I purchased a Solia flat iron with this dryer, and they're an unbeatable pair--my frizz-prone hair is now silky, straight and lovely--I feel like Andrea transformed in the film "The Devil Wears Prada!") But truly, the dryer is perfect on its own. No wonder it's named after the legendary beauty, Helen of Troy. This site is great too--free, lighning fast shipping. Thanks Folica.com and Hot Tools!

I have super fine and thin hair so don't necessarily need the most powerful blow dryer, but I have always battled extreme flyaways after drying my hair. This blow dryer is AMAZING! It is powerful but doesn't cause any static or flyaways in my hair, and it truly makes my hair shine. I have always bought the $20-$25 blow dryers and wasn't ready to step up to a $100+, but now I know I don't need to because this is WELL worth the money and I don't even want to try another!!
I also bought my hair straightener (Hai) from folica.com, and I have experience no less than excellent customer service :)

I am in love with this blowdryer! I read the reviews here and asked for it as a New Year's gift from my dad. I've now been using it for months and I think it's truly my favorite dryer ever. It is powerful, has a lot of different settings, has ion technology, comes with attachments, and it's lightweight. Overall my hair dries much faster, has less frizz, and comes out feeling softer with this blowdryer versus my old Conair and my mom's Vidal Sassoon. I invested in an expensive ceramic straightening iron because my old blowdryer did nothing to help me straighten my hair (it's thin and wavy and frizzy). With this dryer, my hair is nice and straight without me even trying. I highly recommend you try this dryer, plus this company is great to work with. I bought a Solia straightener from them about a year ago and I didn't like it, and they made it super easy to return the straightener and get a full refund. This blowdryer is a no brainer though, especially for the price. Try it out!

I just purchase this blow dryer and it's the best one I've ever had. I couldn't afford those $75+ dryers but still wanted something that was a little better than the ones at Target. So this was the happy medium. And I have been so happy since I received it. It's light weight and very comfortable to hold. I'm very picky when it comes to holding a dryer. The buttons can't be in the way or feel like it weighs 10 lbs. I have a lot of hair and this thing dries and styles my hair in 20 minutes. It cut my "getting ready" time in half. It's a wonderful product and would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

I'm very pleased with this dryer because it has variable ion output, lightweight, cool shot, several heat options, concentrator & straightening pik. Its a little noisy, but thats ok.

This hair dryer is the second item I have purchased from Folica and I am still a fan! My son and I both use the dryer and it really does dry hair quicker than non-ion dryers! I straighten (blow-out) my semi-wavy hair and it always looks shiny and healthy! Great product for shoulder length hair like my son's or waist-length hair like mine!

I usually go through 3 or 4 hair dryers a year. I have owned every hair dryer you can think of. This has been the best one I've ever had. Not only does it drys my hair in less than 10 minutes, it light, and it's my favorite Color

I have thick, coarse curly hair and this hairdryer is perfect for me. I previously had the pink hairdryer from CHI which lasted about a month before breaking on me. Not impressed. However, color me impressed with this Hot Tools hairdryer. Satisfied customer!

This is the best blow dryer I have ever used. I really like the Ion Select feature as I have fine hair that tends to go flat when Ion is set to 'high.' By allowing me to move it to a 'low' setting it works perfect for me. I would highly recommend this dryer - it works better than more expensive models.
I first learned about this dryer from my stylist who uses it. I figured, if it's good enough for professional salon use, it's good enough for me!
Wonderful and none expensive!

I came very close to spending over $100 on a hair dryer that was the #1 or "the best"....trying to keep up with the trends. This hair dryer is amazing and so is the price! My hair is softer now and the drying time is much shorter...and I have thick hair. I highly recommend this tool!
