I bought this dryer 10/07 and really liked the way it dried my hair. Then Feb '08 it stopped heating up (only 5 months young). Sent it back to Folica (cost me $10 to ship) and then Folica wants another $9.95 processing fee! Hmm, I already wish I hadn't bought this expensive, defective hair dryer.

Plastic piece broken off when received. Functions were not as varied as described. Didn't find this dryer to be worth the price asked. Nothing special about it.

I have had no issues with this dryer as I have used it everyday for the past 4 months!! If you have fine hair, this dryer works great and it has drastically cut down time on drying on MY HAIR. I have long, straight shoulder length hair that is layered on top. Bottom line, I am thrilled with this product.

I bought this dryer for my mom early September. It is now Jan 4,2008 ( four months later) and she called me to say that the dryer was smoking up on her and she shut it down so it wouldn't catch on fire. I paid a pretty penny for this to be smoking up like that. I purchased this brand because my mom originally owned their twenty five dollar dryer and was pretty ok with it. Now I am stuck trying to get some recourse because of course I didn't save the invoice. Hopefully, the manufacturer will live up to the warranty. Piece of junk. Mind you my mom is 65 years young, with thinning hair cut in a short bob. So it's not like she burned the heck out of it. Maybe she used it every other day for 8 to ten minutes???? Take the chance and buy it if you dare. Save your invoice and the box. You never know.

with this dryer and that is the cool shot button! It is very hard to push for me - I do have some arthritis in my hands - so it may not be this way for everyone. Otherwise, I like the dryer!
