The Helix was amazing until five months after i got it an element went out and it stopped heating.

First of all, this was the best price I found for this straightener while comparison shopping... sometimes by as much as $40. Hot Tools products are pricey, but totally worth it. My otherwise full and unruly, yet finely textured hair doesn't usually tame down easily. However, this straightener turns what could be a chronic bad hair day into a lovely, shiney, straight and polished-looking mane.
I definitely recommend this product.

I love this straightner. You can change the temp and i love that because if you use it every day and have it on the highest temp, it burns your hair out of your head. I love that it also comes with a pad, i dont have to worry about burning something that i set it on. And the straightner makes my hair soft and healthy.
