my best friend has the same straightener as this and whenever i go over her house we usually straighten our hair! i really like this one because it makes both her and my hair straight, it heats up quickly and makes our highlights stand out, making the finishing results look great!
works for me !!!

When I initially bought this item, I thought that this was the greatest thing since sliced bread. And don't get me wrong, I still do. Sure there's a slight smell in the beginning. But it does not damage the hair, and gets just hot enough to get the job done. A good deal for the money, I think. Months after buying this flat iron, I read the reviews that stated that many experienced their flat iron cracking. Well, after arriving at the hotel while on business, I opened the suitcase and found mine a little cracked, too. But I don't know if it happened en route to the hotel, or it was due to poor craftsmanship. Either way, the flat iron is still useable, and I love it.
Great product for the money

My hair stylist who has been in the business over 20 years uses this unit in her salon. It performs. I read some negative reviews on this product on this site. Let me address a couple: The unit stinks or is smelly during use. Any brand new electric appliance will emit an odor the first few times you use it. The smell goes away after the first few uses. Handle melting - didn't experience it - handle doesn't get that hot. I have moderately wavy hair and it works great for me - and you can't beat the price. Styles come and go - flat hair this season - curly the next. Why spend a lot of money on a product that you may not use next season when styles change?
its ok....

I had the non-ceramic hot tools flat iron, but when I lost it, I figured I would be nice to my hair and get a ceramic iron. However, this iron barely gets my hair straight. I don't know whether it just doesn't get as hot, but I had "straightened" my hair one day and was complaining to a friend that it was driving me insane and she suggested getting a flat iron. She couldn't even tell it was straightened. I totally don't recommend this iron.
I loved it was great .

OMG! ok do NOT buy this! Not only does this smell bad but it made my dye fade faster and so now if u look at my old one its got all this dark brown dye on the plates and my handle snapped off! It just broke off! And no i didnt drop it or anything! I HATE this straightener the hot tools without the ceramic is better than this one because i've tried that one too but it ruins ur hair!
eh ok....

i straighten my hair every day and i have tried tons of different types of flat irons, when i got this one i wasnt too impressed. it still left my hair wavy and VERY puffy and frizy. :/ i am not too happy with it. i say if you want it to look good, then just get the bion flat iron.
this is awful!!!

I had this straightener for 2 days, then it melted at the handle, so I got an new one and it did the same thing. The straightner smelled awful and It took me forever to strighen my hair. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. It is a waste of money!

I have had nothing but problems with this flat iron. The first one I purchased, within 6 months of using it, the handled melted completely off, so I was able to trade it in for another, and believe it or not, the same thing happened. This product has some serious problems!!
I am ready to order another one

I love this flat iron. I have thin curly hair which can get very frizzy. When I use this I feel like a million bucks

I had the bad experience of buying a Conair as my first straightener, and I'm happy I got this one to replace it! It make my naturaly wavy and curly hair straight! Plus, it has cermaic which is suppose to be better for your hair. Some unique things I enjoy about this iron are the european and light-weight style and the rounded plate edges (which are almost as good as a curling iron!). This iron is great, theres no use spending hundreds of dollars on a GHD or CHI!
Pretty cool

This iron works pretty well; it actually made my uncontrollable hair straight!!!! Unfortunately, the smell it gave off when it was going was horrible!!!! Like burning rubber or something... If ur willing to spend lots of $$$ u should get one of the CHI or HAI or whatever they were called irons; they probably work better. However, if ur cheap like me, this is a pretty good choice... just don't use it in ur room & next to ur bed...
2 great

I have gone though many flat irons, and this one by far is the BEST EVER! I have really think, dry hair, plus alot of frizzies!!! But after using this my hair become soft, shinny, and no more noticeable frizz. Highly Recommend! Best of all it keeps your hair straight for day! THe best you will ever by for a great price
Love It

It works pretty well, but takes a very long time and sometimes my hair is still frizzy. I have very curly hair, and for the most part, the Hot Tools straightener makes it straight and smooth! For the best results, it takes me about 45 minutes- too long in my opinion- but considering the relative price, this product is great!
