I just sent back my second hot tools air brush, and am not sure if I will get another one. Sure, it does a great job when it is working, but you can't depend on it to last too long. I wish I had the luck that some people here seem to have had, but it looks like I'm in pretty good company with the vast majority who seem to think that it is a poorly made product. I think I'll try the Babyliss brand. It is a bit more pricy, but my guess is that it will last a bit longer. Lets hope so!

This product worked great until the motor died. I probably only used it about 6 times. Now I'm back to the old hairdryer and round brush. I would ask for my money back if I had kept my receipt. I also would have only given it one star because of the short life span, but it did work great while it lasted.

I really like this hot air brush -- improved over the earlier version with the ion option, and cool shot (although you have to move the button back and forth)-- I wish it had a brush release feature so that the brush would "roll" out of my hair instead of pulling the curl out. But my hair seems smooth and keeps its shape after styling. The concentrator attachment is really wasted effort -- all I really wanted was the brush.

I beleive where the air flow of this dryer comes out,which is under your hand,constricts the flow and causes it to burn up. I used this dryer 3 times and it burned up...

love this curling brush! only problem is that end gets a little hot during use but when you get used to it, it's easy to avoid touching it

Gets the best results compared to all the other hot air brushes I've tried--5 or 6 brands. Always keep a back up. This product is hard to find anywhere but Folica. The only improvemnt Hot tools could make is to put a ceramic barrel on the brush. I get great, reliable results styling whether my hair is long, short or in between. Been using this tool for 7 years.

Very great product, I loved it very much. It drys very efeectively and fast. I use it on low. It does cause my hair to have static electricity sometimes, but I love it anyway. I would definitly purchase this blowdryer again, Thank you.

When it came to my door I opened it up, plugged it in and the motor started smoking. It smelled awful. It wouldn't turn on again. Had to send it back.

I love this dryer! I have been using it nearly every day since I got it. I will never use anything else. It is awesome. I can't believe it is so inexpensive!

My hair is fine but stubborn, so I need a hot brush with power & grip. This hot brush has 1000W of power, plus the ionic flow prevents any static. Sometimes it gets too hot, and I have to use the low setting, but it's better than anything off the shelf. It is not strong enough to dry my hair on its own (as advertised), and the nozzle attachment is useless.
Somewhat satisfied, not bad for the price, I guess

I am somewhat satisfied with this tool. The one major thing that is wrong with this, is that the brush falls off. It really stinks when you are doing your hair and the brush falls off. I guess its not completely terrible though. I like how it dries and curls at the same time but I wouldn't recommend this product if you are trying to straighten your hair with no frizz. It doesn't work that well for me. I have really thick hair. All in all it's ok

After using 3-5 times a week mine broke after several months. It was not my fault and no damage was done to the item. It would not turn on. I highly recommend you spend your money on another hot air brush. Mine Conair has lasted for a couple years now with no problem.

This product came broken when arrived. The barrel will fall off from the handle and therefore cannot grab hair and be used. Go buy other air brush!

I've had my Hot Air Brush for at least 3-4 years now and it's going strong. I have several curling irons and a flat iron, all Hot Tools and I love them all but my Hot Air Brush is definitely my favorite. I use it almost daily on wet and dry hairto curl or straighten. It is fantastic! I have very fine but incredibly thick hair so this makes it possible for me to have the benefit of curling and drying in one. My hair is too long and there is too much of it to use a hairdryer and brush on my own but the hot air brush solves the problem. And, never once has my hair tangled in the bristles. They hold well but won't tangle no matter what I've done. I would definitely recommend it!

I can't believe all the negative postings about the motor of this product. My mom has had hers for 7 years and I've had mine for 3 years and niether of us have had any problems. I love this product and wish they would come out with one that had a bigger barrel.

I bought the product and was very excited about it. It worked GREAT...till it died just two months later. I only used this product 2-3 times a week and within 2 months it just quit. Of course because I didn't keep the box, I couldn't get a refund from the beauty supply store!! I was very disappointed because I did enjoy the product very much. oh well...live and learn. SAVE your boxes and receipts for this product!

This sis by far the best product. I have gone through 3 of these already. Iv tried using other brands and they just dont work like this product does. It sounds silly, but I guess its beeter to just have to replace this about every six months!!Go figure!

I love this product, it works better than anything else out there. But keep a spare on hand ALWAYS. It might work 6 months, it might work 10 months, but consider this a short lived appliance. That said, if only they would make a dual volt for travel, all my hair issues would be solved.
I have used this item for two years now and love it.

This hot air brush has been a lifesaver for my hair. My hair is fine and I have a lot of it, but it tends to frizz a bit, and this airbrush makes it sleek and wavy, w/o the frizz factor. I just ordered two more. I hope they don't stop making them...

This item arrived broken; the barrel would just fall off when in use. Even if it had stayed on though the barrel got too hot to handle. I can only imagine that it would have fried my hair.
