I've had this dryer for about 6 months now and I love it. It dries faster than my old Conair and moves more air. Haven't had any issues yet and I don't use the attachment so 5 stars! Also love my Hot Tools curling iron!
Very good buy!

Excellent hair dryer. Recommend it to everybody. Same as my regular size expensive Babyliss. Absolutelt recommend. Was using on low setting in Europe and high In America.

Blew out after 2 months

It seemed to be OK while it was working, so if you want to take your chances, I'd say the performance was good. I wasn't interested in trying this hairdryer again, so I exchanged it for a Chi dryer (not travel, though -- I'll have to start researching again -- sigh).
I probably will stay away from the Hot Tools brand as a result of this experience.

I've had mine for about four years now and it still works pretty well. It dries quickly and I have no flyaways.

This dryer is wonderful! I like it almost as well as my $150 regular one. I bought it strictly to avoid the crappy dryers in hotel rooms (and friends' homes) and it far, far surpassed my expectations.
Comb Attachment Problem
Reviewer:
Frizzy
Thu May 08 2008
This is a great travel dryer. It is powerful and compact, BUT it has an oval-shaped opening, which creates a problem if you need a comb attachment. It comes with a concentrator attachment, but if you need a comb attachment, you are out of luck. I bought it with the thought that I could use a "universal" comb attachment. Later, I discovered that "universal" attachments work only with round openings. Now I need to buy another travel dryer.
I love my Hot Tools Hair Dryer

This is absolutely the best hair dryer I have ever used. I am 49 years old...have long hair... and have gone through many different brands of hair dryers. None can compare to the Hot Tools Anti-Static Ionic Travel Dryer. I love the size, the weight... and the fact that it drys my hair quickly without burning it. Gone are the frizzie ends!
Best buy for my money!

The blower arrived on time and in good shape. It seems to work fine. We just wish we had known it was made in China before we ordered it. (Yes, we know that lots of items are made there, and a bzillion of them are junk.)
Great for my fine hair!!

I bought this hairdryer based on internet reviews, including the ones here and have had it for 6 weeks. Use it daily and love it! Dries my hair fast and still gives it volume. I have fine hair that is short to mid-length. Have no problems with the attachment - maybe its because I do not use it for a longer period of time. Would recommend it for my hair type and if it breaks will buy it again (unless something better gets on the market by then).
Ionic dryers really do make a difference!

This was my first ionic dryer and I'll never go back to regular hot air. This dryer does travel well, but there aren't a million functions on it. It's a "get the job done with no fuss" dryer.
Works Great but Concentrator Attachment Falls Off

This is a light weight dryer that works like a regular at-home heavier drier. It folds and is compact for travel. I've had good results with it. However, the concentrator attachment continually falls off no matter how hard I snap it on. Must be something to do with the snaps warming up as you use it and releasing the attachment. It's annoying for sure, but not enough to keep me from taking this along when I travel.

This isn't that old and I can't say as I saw any difference in my hair using this but this morning it shot flames and sparks out onto my face. I sure wish I knew the real manufacturer so I could complain, it seems there isn't any info on that.
small but effective

I wish it was a little smaller, but I guess the smaller the less power. This one works really well - the difference I've experienced between its drying and the drying of my regular hairdryer is noticable but negligible. I have curly hair so for me it worked well. I would recommend it.

I bought this a few years ago and I still love it. It's travel size but you really don't need a regular one. It dries hair faster than anything other blowdryer I have ever used (including the super expensive ones Revolution $300). I love it great for it's cost, fast, long lasting...all my friends and family love it and want one too!
Nozzel falls off way easily.
Reviewer:

from Houston, TX Tue Oct 16 2007
The blow dryer itself works well and it does make my hair super shiny, but it's a pain to try to style it because the nozzel attatchment constantly falls off which can be a pain, especially if you're half way through blow-drying because it gets really hot. I wanted to buy another attatchment but others won't fit because the end of the blower is oval, not round. Not impressed.
Very disappointed

I bought this TRAVEL hair dryer in August 2007. Used it twice (its a travel dryer) and the 2nd time I used it it over heated and now it won't work on the hi level, only the low. Since I don't have unusual hair drying practices and only used this twice before it broke I find this product unsatisfactory BUT can't get a refund because its past my 30 days.
