I was so excited about getting these giant travel rollers. and I am soooo disappointed. The reviews were so good...the clips that come with them are inadequate. I have med length hair, the clips won't hold the roller at the top of my hair, they fall out or fall limp, instead of staying at the crown to give me height and body. The lid to the case won't stay on well, and so it is not a good item to pack. The rollers don't have posts to sit on to get hot, they have short little nubs and so do not stay on there to move from your bag to the counter, etc. they fall all over the place. I am returning the item. I have enjoyed all the other products I have purchased from Folica.com. I also wish that they came with more than 5 rollers, just got my second set, used old ones to the metal, had to toss them finally. I have long fine hair, they give me lots of volume. I'm thrilled to have found another set. Have not been able to find any in this size anywhere. Peggy North Carolina I love them, the biggest hot rollers I can find ....and I have tried many. Also, agree they would be better with 6 rollers, but then that would make it too big to fit in my carry-on. I just would not be without them. Just remember to change the setting to the correct power when out of the country or else you fry the unit... Returning these - I bought 2 sets because 5 rollers aren't enough. These get VERY hot - I had to wear gloves to touch them to get them in my hair. The 2nd time I plugged them in, the plastic cover on the appliance actually melted in a bit! AND, then I had to go to my hair dresser and have 2 inches cut off my hair because these rollers fried them so badly. I am very disappointed - I was so looking forward to nice voluptous hair with nice big rollers which are difficult to find, but I will have to keep looking - these are just horrible. I have had three sets of these rollers! I use them constantly. They are the biggest rollers out there. Wish they came in a set of 6 not 5. The only time they were a little too hot on my fingers was when the material started to wear out on the roller itself. I plug them in, shower, dry my hair and they are ready when I am ready to use them. If I don't wash and dry my hair I just plug them in a little earlier. Just need to plan ahead!
