Better than any other model I have ever owned -- well worth the price --even if it should break, I would definitely buy another --made my morning hairstyling much simpler and I get great results

I have had trouble locating a small brush roller in our areal and so was so very pleased to find one online. The service was so prompt I received it much sooner than expected.
Thank you

Product Rating: 5 fullness for fine hair

I've been looking for a long time for this kind of dryer and finally went on line to find just the right one. The Helen of Troy tangle-free hot air brush has given my fine hair so much more fullness! I've been using hot air brushes for the last 15 years. This one is by far the best hot air brush I've ever owned. I'll know just where to go to get a new one if it ever wears out!

Product Rating: 5 Best Product for Thick Hair
Reviewer: Allana   Fri Jan 19 2007

I worked at the front desk of a hair salon and kept seeing this product fly off the shelf. Finally I decided to try it myself, and it was fantastic! I had never gotten the hang of using a round brush and hair dryer at the same time, and this fixed my problem. When I finally had to replace it, I tried another brush with flexible bristles and it was awful. It wouldn't hold my thick hair. I returned it immediately and went back to my trusty friend. I'll never make that mistake again!

Product Rating: 5 Hot Air Brush
Reviewer: Bonnie Collins from Pollock Pines, CA  Sat Jan 13 2007

I have been using this curling iron for a long time, and finally replaced it after many years of use. I even take it along when I travel. My hair is long and very fine so I don't need to spend time using a blow dryer. I love this productso much that I purchased one for my friend. It works well for touch ups too.

Product Rating: 5 A Very Good Product
Reviewer: Gail from Minneapolis, MN  Thu Dec 21 2006

I travel several times a month in my job as a flight attendant. The Air Brush works well using a converter when I happen to be in Europe. One caution however, be careful not to cover the air intake grill at the base of the handle with your hand while in use as this may cause the thermal protection to stop the motor and heating element. Another tip, keep the intake clear of lint. I use the vacuum cleaner hose once every couple of months to remove any lint build up. This is a unique product and has served me well.

Product Rating: 5 I love this product!
Reviewer: Vickie from Broken Arrow, Ok.  Fri Dec 01 2006

I love this product! I had another one of these for years (10+) and it was still working, but did not come apart to clean so cleaning was a pain. This new one is so easy to clean. I too, have short fine hair and this hot air brush works great and makes my hair look thicker. I'll buy another one in the future.

Product Rating: 5 My Favorite
Reviewer: Anonymous from Villanova, PA  Thu Aug 31 2006

I was elated to find this curling iron on the internet. I had one for nine years and when it stopped working, I didn't think I would be able to find another. I first purchased a similar model nine years ago at my hairstylist and have since moved away. It's been my favorite hair styling tool for years. Its easy to use, I wait for my hair to be almost dry (or quick dry it with a blower) and use the curling iron to style curls into my hair. Its fast and easy. Thanks, Folica, for making my search for its replacement quick, easy and with no hassles. This new iron/dryer is just like my old faithful and I hope to get a number of years of service from it as well.

This is the worst hot air curling brush i've ever had. If you turn it off..you have to wait for it to cool down to start it up again. It tangled my hair so bad i almost had to cut it out plus it has actually burned my hair off in spots.

Product Rating: 4 Wonderful for fine hair
Reviewer: Deborah from Florida  Sun Apr 02 2006

This is my second one. I used the last one for 4 years and it finally wore out. I couldn't find one locally so I got on the computer and began looking. Thank a million for helping me locate the new one. I have real problem hair and this tool works great for me.

Product Rating: 5 Can't live without it!
Reviewer: Carol from Littleton, CO  Thu Feb 09 2006

I have used this product for years. I have worn out 3 of them and can't find them in any of the retail stores anymore. I especially like the smaller 3/4" barrel and drying and styling at the same time. I'm buying 3 on-line this time -- one for use, one for travel, and one for a spare.

Product Rating: 1 Bad Problems
Reviewer: Hazel from Colorado  Sun Jan 29 2006

Once you turn it on, you can't turn it off again and expect it to start back up until it cools down. So you can't answer your phone or take a sip of coffee or turn it off for any reason if you're in a hurry. Worse still, the removable hard-bristle pastic brush melts after a few weeks of use and can even melt into your hair. I have used a hot air brush for 20 years and never had these problems with any other brand. Too bad, as I did like the way it styled my hair.

Product Rating: 5 Love It!

This item is so much better for your hair ... You can blow dry and style at the same time, just heating your hair once.

I have been using a Helen of Troy blower brush for over 3 years. I am ready for a new one and will be buying the same product.

Product Rating: 2 not what I expected
Reviewer: Carol A Stone from Canby, OR  Thu Nov 10 2005

After just a few uses the brush has started to get rickety, that is, parts of the brush are coming loose and it looks like it will get worse and worse. This is something I will be using on a daily basis and I did not expect this lack of quality for price paid.

This is an extremely great product - I would recomend it for the novice in doing a style. It is a comfortable tool to hold and produces great results.

Product Rating: 3 The only problem is It shuts down too much!
Reviewer: Priscilla from Las Vegas Nevada  Sat Aug 06 2005

I love the design and how it combs through my long, course, curly hair! I am rating it average because it shuts down too often (sigh). Don't use this product if you're in a hurry. It usually shuts down 3-4 in the course of one styling session. I don't believe I'd buy this product again because it is too aggravating (for me) to wait five minutes for it to cool down.

Product Rating: 4 Understanding the Problem
Reviewer: Jaime Ray from Martinez, CA  Sat Jun 04 2005

I agree, the on and off again issue is annoying. I also agree that this is the best model for me, creating my favorite results. I learned that to keep my brush running all the time it requires regular cleaning. Here are the details: The brush has a protective thermal switch. When the dryer is clean, more air moves through the unit keeping it cool. However, as hair and debris collect on the units ventalation port, the air flow is restricted and the brush heats up. This causes the thermal cut-out switch to automatically shut the dryer down until a lower temperature has been achieved. If I don't have time to clean it and I just have to get it working fast, I blow my cool breath through the unit accelerating it's cool down time. Good Luck!!

Product Rating: 3 Cool down before restarting?
Reviewer: Susan from South Carolina  Sun Mar 06 2005

Love this product except for the problem others note with it running continuously. I'm on my third one - but each one, after about a month of flawless performance, begins either shutting off during use or refuses to start back up if I turn it off, then turn it back on. If I let it rest for about ten minutes, it will come back on (but what a hassle when you're rushing to get to work in the morning!). It is an irritating glitch - wish it could be fixed because I have never found a comparable product for styling long hair.
