Great curling brush for short hair.

These curling brushes are hard to find. This is a great product for people with short hair who want some curl. This gives a nice firm curl.

The reason I returned the Helen of Troy curling brush is because the tip was too hot to grip. I always like to hold on to the end of my brush iron to gain more control over the curl, but it wasn't possible with this brush.

This product works well but it has a very short flat end tip compared to my previous brush. I burned my fingers quite alot at first but now I am used to it. It is very light weight and easy to travel with.

I have used curling brushes for years and have used Helen of Troy before. I love them especially since I have had my hair cut short. I ordered the mini and regular sizes and use them all the time. It is impossible to find them anymore in local stores. My only complaint, as someone else pointed out, would be the length of the tip. I also have burned myself several times. It needs to be a bit longer to hold with the tips of your fingers.
Overall, service, delivery, product were/are all great.

This was one of the few 1 inch curling brushes available anywhere! I like almost everything about it (length of cord, strength of bristles, and heat range). The only thing I don't like is the length of the tip (which you hold onto as you curl your hair). I have burned my fingers a few times. If they would extend the tip at the end it would be the perfect 1 inch curling brush.

The curling brush was just what I had been looking for. They are impossible to find in stores. The long cord does not twist, the temp. is adjustable and is just the right degree. I had to wait several weeks for the product to arrive as they were on back order. But, was treated to a heat proof carrying case to make up for the wait. I liked the brush so much that I ordered a 2nd one 2 days after the arrival of the first. That one arrived very quickly.
This was a great purchase.

I was not able to find a 1/2" mini brush in stores, so I turned to the internet and found Folica. Great web site and had just what I wanted. The Helen of Troy curling brush works great on my short hair! I also received the product very quickly. I WILL order again!

I am so happy to have found this small curling brush that is not available in stores. It is just perfect for my hairstyle, and works great. I do not, however, like the smell, and hope it will leave in time.

I had looked for 2 years for a product that is this size. I had a Helen of Troy curling brush that was perfect and was a workhorse for many years and was very old. I am ecstatic to have found the one identical to the one I had that finally lost its bristles. It is perfect, I love it and it performs great and Folica was great to do business with! Thanks! Joyce

I finally found a brush that comes in the 1/2 inch size. It heats fast and has teeth that grab well. I would prefer a slightly larger tip to grab so I don't burn my fingers.

This brush did not heat up. I have fine hair so I don't need it real hot to curl my hair, buy it wouldn't even heat up enough to curl my hair.

As someone who loves using a curling brush (instead of curlers or an iron) but who has very thin short hair, I am thrilled to find a half inch product. It heats quickly and does a superb job on my hair.

I usually use a curling iron but recently cut my hair into a bob. I wanted a curling brush to gently curl the ends under. I've used these in the past and was pleased. However, this particular curling brush takes forever to heat up to a reasonable level, and when used, still isn't hot enough to give me any curl. I am back to using my old curling iron to try to achieve the desired effect.
I guess you get what you pay for...I went for this one because it was cheap. Now I'm stuck trying to find another one and have wasted the money spent on this one.

I live in Canada and I did not purchase the express delivery, still I recieved my order in two days, was I surprised. The service was fantastic. I was impressed again when I saw the case I did not expect that at all. The brush works well, I bought the 1.5 inch. I actually use it to straighten and flip up the ends, creates a nice wispy flip. The only down side is that it takes a few minutes to heat up, it's not instant. Still great value for the money and I will definitly purchase from Folica again.
