Hamadi Honey Soymilk Hair Wash is a daily shampoo for fine hair.

Gentle enough to use every day. Honey adds volume, texture and body. Soymilk hydrates hair without weighing it down.

Essential oils of Guaiac and Ylang Ylang. 100% Certified Organic, completely biodegradable, no artificial ingredients, perfumes, or colors. The dimethicone used in Hamadi products is an extract from silica - sand - not from petroleum. Next to oxygen, sand (silica) is the most abundant element in the earth's crust. Silica is characteristically the element of the mineral kingdom, as carbon is of the organic world.

Hamadi products have a 5.5 PH balance. The foaming/sudsing agent is coco-glucoside, which is a combination of coconut oil, palm oil, corn oil, and sugar - all natural. The high chain of soy and rice proteins cause the hair to feel rough and tangled while shampooing but will make the hair follicle soft, silky and smooth upon drying.

Directions:

Apply to wet hair.  Work into a lather and rinse thoroughly.

Overpriced and foul-smelling.

You'd think that a "honey soymilk" shampoo would have a sweet, light, inviting scent, but in this case -- you'd be wrong. Despite having all natural ingredients, Hamadi's Honey Soymilk Hair Wash smells like a chemical nightmare. I'd even take the floral overdose of cheap shampoo over this astringent and uninviting stuff. This is also one of those shampoos that does not lather. In fact, it feels like it strips the life out of your hair as soon as you start massaging it in. Tresses immediately become matted and impossible to manipulate. Getting all the way down to the scalp is a struggle. For a magazine-featured, $23 per bottle shampoo, I expected a hell of a lot more.
