Not sure if anyone answered you yet, however, I am mixed and I have VERY thick and curly hair. Straighteners don't tend to work on my hair. This straightener is the only one that gets hot enough and works on my hair. It makes my hair soft and shiny. I brush my hair out and use it in small, small sections, and it does a GREAT job. If you want to get your hair straight, and not frizzy, buy this one! | Will my hair straighten?
Do I need to blow dry my hair before using this because that would make my hair huge and frizzy? Question posted by Nad Sat Nov 10 2007 Submit your answer how do you curl you hair with it?
im not sure how to curl my hair with this one. i love it. it works great but does anyone have tips and tricks on how to curl it? if so please tell me!! thanks!! Question posted by Lindsay Fri Dec 29 2006 Submit your answer | Reply by Kyrsha

Take a small piece of hair and clamp your iron at the top of the piece at the root. Twirl the iron all the way around (360 degreess) and then glide down the hair. This will give you sexy, loose curls. You can go to youtube and put in "curling hair with a flat iron". Lots of great instructional videos will come up.
Hope I helped! | UK/USA (Florida) Compatible?
Will these straightners work in the UK and USA. I am from the UK and I am going to Orlando Florida for my summer holiday. I have been told UK straightners will not heat up in Florida, but have been told the Hai-stik will work both in the UK and Florida if I use and adaptor plug, is this true?Best regards Question posted by Christine Ferguson Fri Jun 02 2006 Submit your answer naturally straight

I currently have a less expensive ceramic flat iron, BUT, the long edges on each side are not rounded and smooth. Those sharp sides sometimes snaps my hair off and the breakage is starting to show. Is this flat iron rounded and smooth along each side. It's hard to tell just by looking at the image provided. Please respond soon. Question posted by M. no it doesnt sorry.. and by the way those wet to dry ones really kill your hair, no matter what they say. It also doesnt make your hair go as flat as it could go. | max temp?
