Product Rating: 5 Better than the CHI
Reviewer: Lauren from Baton Rouge, LA  Fri Mar 24 2006

I've had my HAI for about 3 years and I love it! A friend of mine bought the CHI for about $50 more and it wasn't as good as mine. She ended up buying the HAI a few months later.
This iron heats up really fast and it is thin enough to do curls with it as well. Just roll the iron as you pull your hair through and it looks like you just put your hair in rollers. I love this product. It did break after 2 1/2 years...but I use it almost everyday so I definately wore it out! I just got my second one and it is by FAR the best flat iron out there (especially for the price)!

Product Rating: 3 IT'S OK SO DON'T THINK IT'S ANY GOOD!!!
Reviewer: S.R. from Pennsylvania  Thu Mar 23 2006

at first when i bought the HAI convertible, i was so happy. It came on time, and right away i used it. It took me over an hour and a half to iron it but it only took me 20 minutes to straighten my hair with the junkier iron. i wouldn't recomend it to people with long, thick, and curly hair like me.

Product Rating: 2 Did not work for me
Reviewer: Chele from Jersey City, NJ  Wed Mar 22 2006

My hair is not curly but it is wavy. I can blow-dry my hair straight but wanted to have a really silky straight look. This product did not work for me. I am returning it today. I usually blow-dry my hair first and then I use the flat iron. It looked exactly the same way it looked after I blowed dried it, even at the highest setting!

Product Rating: 4 great for thick hair
Reviewer: Kerstin from Las Vegas, nv  Tue Mar 21 2006

My hair is as thick as can be and this really worked! It isnt very wide so you have to do a little section at a time, but just one pass and your hair is straight. It gets so hot that I actually burned my fingers on my HAIR. :) Be warned, and have fun

Product Rating: 2 Plates do not meet together
Reviewer: JAS   Mon Mar 20 2006

I returned 2 of these because the plates did not meet flat together. My hair slipped out unless I squeezed shut the flat iron very tightly. The HAI heats up very quickly, but that does no good if you can't keep your hair in long enough to straighten it! Instead I got the Solia, which doesn't heat up quite as quickly as the HAI, but tells you when it's hot and holds my hair better.

Product Rating: 5 HAI Straightener Review
Reviewer: Dawn from Michigan  Fri Mar 17 2006

Recommended to me by a coworker and i LOVE it. My hair is very curly and it works very well. Gets very hot and heats evenly for smooth, straight hair. BUY IT!

Product Rating: 5 fabulous!!
Reviewer: C.R. from Philadelphia, PA  Wed Mar 15 2006

This flat iron is fabulous!! It's the exact same one my hairdresser uses. So I can achieve the same shimmery look at home! I waited to review this product to see how it would stand up, and boy does it. For the price and free shipping it was well worth it.

Product Rating: 5 great product
Reviewer: shanae from atlanta, ga  Mon Mar 13 2006

I have had 2 other ceramic irons in the past (chi and true ceramic pro) They where each about $120 and to me performed like a regular old flat iron. My beautician uses this HAI iron (which she paid 130 for through a distributor) and when she uses it on my hair it looks so good I just had to try it out for myself. It has been so easy to use and works at home just as good as when she uses it on my hair in the shop. I love this iron and feel if you are going to invest lots of money on a ceramic iron you should get the HAI. Its less expensive then the other "good" quality ceramics and has worked best for me. Try it (or the newest HAI ceramic with the red plates)

Product Rating: 5 I Love the HAI Convertable!
Reviewer: Sarah from Edmond, Oklahoma  Fri Mar 10 2006

I bought my HAI Convertable about a month ago after going to the salon and my stylist used one on my hair. I had never loved my hair so much. Awesome Results!

Product Rating: 5 So far so good
Reviewer: MaLinda from VA  Wed Mar 08 2006

This is actually my first "high quality" flatiron that I have purchased, and I am very pleased with my results. It gets my hair straight on low settings and it gets my wavy extensions bone straight when I choose to wear it that way LOL. I'm just hoping that I will not have any problems that I've heard about happen.

Product Rating: 5 HAI Ceramic Flat Iron
Reviewer: Kim   Tue Mar 07 2006

This is the third flat iron I have used. The first two were inexpensive, and didn't hold the heat, and I had to go over and over the same piece of hair. I have had this one for about a month, and so far I love it! It is very light and easy to use. I only have to go over the hair one time and it leaves it smooth and silky looking. It was definitely worth the extra money!

Product Rating: 4 Awesome product
Reviewer: Carla from Hayward, Ca  Mon Mar 06 2006

I've bought 5 of these so far. Everytime I show my one of my family members they end up taking mine and I have to order a new one. This is a great product that heats up fairly quickly and doesn't burn you hair.

just so everyone knows, people who say "if you drop it it will break!!" well DUHH. its meant to straighten...not endure 4 foot drop onto the floor... and, its much easier to put your hair in layers when straightening.
u first put my hair in a ponytail, then let some hair out of the bottom. i straighten that part, then let another layer out. and this straightener has never pulled my hair. trust me it WORKS

I have used many brands of flat irons and that Hai surpasses them all. I have had mine for over 2 years and it works as well as it did the day I bought it. I love it!

Product Rating: 5 100% satisfied
Reviewer: mandy from Dallas, TX  Tue Feb 28 2006

I've had this straightener for a year and a half and have had no problems. I had a Wigo ceramic straightener that died after only a few months, but the Hai has been great. I have thick wavy hair but this straightener works fast and seems to lock out most of the Texas humidity I have to deal with. I've recommended this to friends and I haven't had any complaints yet!

Product Rating: 5 So far, so good
Reviewer: Yvette from Philadelphia  Mon Feb 27 2006

I ordered the HAI convertable flat iron because my hairdresser uses it and she said it is the best flat iron she has used so far. I got my HAI a few weeks ago and so far, I love it! As long as there is no electrical shortage (like a few people have reported) this is the best flat iron I have ever used. It makes my hair look really shiny and feel very soft. I'm not sure if it is just the smooth look or if the design really is good for the hair, but my hair feels healthier than ever. For someone who usually relaxes my hair, it has done great at straightening my roots between touch ups. It almost temps me not to relax my hair at all since it is so easy to straighten it with the HAI. But we won't go there yet. Now I would just like to see how my hair holds up in humid weather after I use the HAI, because humidity has always been a problem for me, causing frizz and flat curls. I guess I'll find out on one of those humid days.

Product Rating: 5 Super Iron
Reviewer: Tali from Los Angeles, California  Sun Feb 26 2006

Most irons that I've used in the past, I've had to go over at least ten times in the same spot very slowly. but this iron, I only had to go over 1-3 times very quikly before my hair was straight! I also really liked how there was no tax or shipping charge and when I got it ten dollars were taken off rght away and it came with a free pouch-IT'S GREAT!

It's lightweight, heats up in a minute, stays hot and straightens the first time, no need to keep going over the same area. I love it!
