HAI Straighting Iron is the best!!

I received my HAI iron promptly after ordering with Folica, this is the best straightening iron I have used yet!! My stylist uses this one in her salon . I previously purchased irons from a beauty suppy store, those do not compare to this one,This iron deserves a 5 star rating in my book, if HAI makes one better, I would love to get my hands on it!! My hair is very fuzzy, blowdried or not and naturally curly, the difference in my hair when I use this iron is,no more fuzz and friz, just flat behaving hair and I don't use any gels or products on my hair, just shampoo , condition and blowdry, and use this iron on clean dry hair, you don't need anything on your hair with a good flat iron,such as this one. The hair has more shine and a silky feel.

This flat iron is fantastic! In the past, I've used other flat irons and they leave my hair straight but with a little frizzy halo that never goes away. But not with this flat iron. It is amazing! Well worth the higher price. I can finally have straight hair again without all the frizzies (even in a humid environment).

I purchased this hairstraightener right before school so that i could have the perfect hair on the first day. When it arrived i was so happy, i plugged it in and it was hot in less than minute. After using it, wich took me half the time then using my other iron, it left my hair really straight like i like it, and extremely shiny. If you have normal to thick hair like me, it will take a bit longer to straighten and you wil have to put in on the highest number.

This straightener works great. It takes a short time for it to warm up, and delivers enough heat to make your hair sleek and shiny. The only drawback (as is with any flat iron), is that it can be drying on the ends of your hair. Overall, I would definitely recommend it at the Folica.com price! (We sell it in my salon for $129.00!)

I am a Black woman with unprocessed hair. I got tired of relaxing my hair and having it thin and lifeless and falling out all over the place. I just received my new HAI flat iron and it is wonderful. I received it within 2-3 days of ordering.(No shipping charges and a free heat pad/Pouch thrown in to boot!) It got my hair so straight and silky looking. I had previously been using a conair flatiron I picked up at Walmart. But this thing puts it to shame. It was so easy, I was finished my just below shoulder length hair in about a half hour. It has been raining here all week and my hair is still straight. My daughter is already trying to figure out how she can get it away from me. I wish I hadn't waited so long before ordering this. My daughter's hair is coarser than mine and her's came out silky straight also. Don't forget that you need to use some kind of silicon or heat protection product on your hair before flat ironing to protect the hair from the high heat.

This product really lived up to all of the reviews that I had read. It straightens really well and does not damage your hair in the process. Also, my hair really held up in the rainy weather much better than with any other straightener I have used before.

The strightener works well. However, two weeks in the red light would turn off when I swiched the temperture setting. So I returned it thinking maybe that one I had was a "bad one." The second one I got is starting to do the same thing. So in the end the strightner is okay...

I bought the Hai flat iron after my friend (who is a beutician) used it on my hair. I fell in love with it then. I used it on my little sister's hair and she said her hair had never been that straight before just from a flat iron. I love the moisture and the sheen it adds to your hair. My sister has thick reddish brown hair and it worked wonderfully. Thanks Hai!

I love this smoothing iron! It's great. It heats up fast and stays hott! It's much like a Chi but I enjoy it even more than my CHI. Its awesome and It's a great deal!

I've had this straightner for about 4 years and it is amazing. I recently bought a new one b/c i dropped a dresser on it while moving and it finally broke, but it took a 50 pound dresser and four years to break. I must have dropped it a million time, i even brought it to sleep away camp with me when i worked there and the kids didn't even break it. I have curly hair and it works so well i can have straight hair even in heat.

I have thick wavy hair and I haven't found a flat iron yet that will get it perfectly straight. I have had my HAI for a few weeks now. I am pleased with it but I definitely have to put straightening products in my hair before it will get almost completely straight. Even after I use the HAI my hair still slightly curves at the ends. Overall, I am please with it and I would recommend it to most people but those with super curly or thick wavy course hair might want to go even more higher end with their flat iron purchases.

This iron works better than both the CHI and Sedu and is cheaper. When my CHI burned out last year i couldn't decide between this iron or the sedu. My best friend has the Hai convertable which i have used many times and LOVE, but since I had heard so many good things about the sedu I decided to give it a try. Bad choice. The sedu gets my hair straight but not silky or shiny. It was much more expensive than the Hai and I was extremely dissapointed, especially after all the great things I had heard. I have wavy/curly frizzy hair and the Hai definently works the best.

This flat iron made my hair straight, soft, and smooth. I love it. Unlike the Sedu which made my hair straight but not very soft, this made my hair salon straight and smooth. I highly recommend it! I have very wavy/frizzy hair and I had a cheap conair from walmart! That never worked for me so I tried this! Let me tell you! I will NEVER go back to walmart brand flat irons!!!

this product has made straightening my hair fun and exciting. i used to own a helen of troy flat iron and, although it was acceptable, my frizzies always returned at the smallest sign of moisture.
the price of the iron was great. i looked in several other places and found that this was the best deal and had free shipping and a free pouch/mat which has come in handy when traveling. i highly suggest buying the hai convertible at folica.com.
i have no complaints yet and am looking forward to seeing how long mine lasts.

My aunt has this flat iron and the $125 sedu. I expected the sedu to work better on my wavy, thick hair because it is more expensive. This worked better though. Although the sedu got my hair straight it didn't leave it as soft and smooth as this. I am buying one a.s.a.p.!!!!!

I have been looking for a flat iron that does the job in half the time. i have bought everything on the market. I went to a new hairdresser and she had this model. i loved it. my hair was so straight and fly away i thoguht i died and went to heaven..LOL well i had to order one and i know this will be my last. My daughter and I will have wonderful straight hair and less in the beauty salon..
