I have excessivley thick curly hair. I have never found a flat iron that could get my hair completely straight. The Hai leaves my hair so sleek and shiny I LOVE IT!

I have been straightening my hair since 7th grade and have always struggled with it because my hair is frizzy due to highlighting it. This is the first straightener that actually gets it STRAIGHT and SILKY in no time at all! Must use with biosilk, it's great!

I'm african american/puerto rican so my hair is just weird. The Hai Convertible is amazing! It doesnt fry my hair either nor does it snag. It's perfect. I highly recommend it

I've had this flat iron for about 3 years now and it still works just as well as the day I got it. I've never had any problems with it, and it's made my hair so straight and smooth that people don't even recognize me if they haven't seen me since I purchased it. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a desire to feel better about the way they look!

I WAS REALLY PLEASED WITH THIS FLAT IRON. I HAVE A CHI THAT I HAVE BEEN USING FOR OVER A YEAR AND I LIKE THE HAI JUST AS MUCH IF NOT BETTER. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE FACT THAT I GOT IT FOR SUCH A GOOD PRICE! THANKS!!!!

This flat iron is absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend it for any hair type. My hair is incredibly thick (like a freaking axe handle) and this product had no problem handling it. I've used it pretty much every day for a month and my ends have no damage and my hair always looks super shiny. I really did my research and Folica had the best price by far.
I had mine for 6 years!

I got this flat iron in 2001, and only recently (Jan 07) did it die. I've dropped it so many times over the past 6 years, and only the last time did one of the plates come loose... so I should probably be a little gentler with my new one. I always get compliments on my shiny, healthy, straight hair, and no one ever believes that it is naturally very thick, curly, and sometimes frizzy. Totally safe and great for colored/highlighted hair as well.
Totally worth the money, and a great product overall!

I LOVE MY FLAT IRON SO MUCH, THAT I AM SO HURT THAT THE CORD BROKE QUICKLY. I ALSO HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAVE THE EXACT FLAT I RON AND ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM. I WANT MY FLAT IRON TO WORK AGAIN.

This is a great flat iron I have very thick hair but it works great every stylist at a high end salon where I get my hair done uses this one I could have bought it there but I got it at a fraction of the cost on Folica .com Great Price !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

I recently got a Chi (original) for Christmas... after asking a lot of stylists which brand was best I was really excited. Then once I tried it I was very, very disappointed. I had previously tried all my friends' HAI and loved it so I traded it on Folica and got the HAI instead and I LOVE IT! It works so much better, it's cheaper, it heats up faster and has temperature control. If you're stuck between the two HAI is the best way to go! Hope this helps!

I had the most unruly hair EVER. It was so bad u couldn't even brush it up. Then one day my hairstylist told me she was going to use a new technique on my hair. She told me to close my eyes and i was a little nervous by then. But after 20 minutes, my hair looked almost as good as Beyonce's. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STRAIGTENER FOR ALL THOSE NAPPY ROOTS PEOPLE!!!!

After trying a friends Hai I had to have one of my own. Its the first straightening iron I have owned that left me with silky shiney hair without ANY product! I have had good straightening iron that do a great job before and I was very satisfied with them until I tried the Hai and experienced the difference. I have lots of very thick wavy/curly/frizzy/puffy hair and lots of those fine little baby hairs hear my forehead and temples that are usually impossible to get straight. After I am done I just look like an amazingly lucky girl born with silky straight smooth hair! The Hai can actually handle those little baby hairs! I also get my hair straight faster! Its amazing!

I purchased this product because I decided that it was time for my hair to be “chemical free”. I was skeptical because I didn’t believe that a flat iron could achieve the look of a relaxer. This product is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! The transformation from kinky to straight was effortless. I wish that I’d known about this product years ago!

This flat iron is honestly the best I have ever used. It makes my hear shiny and very soft unlike others that I've used that make my hair dull and stiff. I wouldn't use any other flat because I trust this one the most.

I got a hai not knowing what it would be like but when ifirst used it iwas amazed! my hair felt smoother and perfectly straight. it only takes a short amount of time to straighten your whole head. When my friends are over i make them try my straightener and they love ittoo! All my friends love it and are now buying them over 200 dollar chi's! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my second Hai Convertible to own. It is still a wonderful product, but the first one I had was better quality. I guess the company has made changes to the product and now it doesn't seem as heavy duty and seems to take longer to do my hair, but the end results are still the same.
