I LOVE MY FLAT IRON SO MUCH, THAT I AM SO HURT THAT THE CORD BROKE QUICKLY. I ALSO HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAVE THE EXACT FLAT I RON AND ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM. I WANT MY FLAT IRON TO WORK AGAIN.
I LOVE MY HAI, BUT IT DOESNT WORK ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THE
WEEK CORD....

This is a great flat iron I have very thick hair but it works great every stylist at a high end salon where I get my hair done uses this one I could have bought it there but I got it at a fraction of the cost on Folica .com Great Price !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

I recently got a Chi (original) for Christmas... after asking a lot of stylists which brand was best I was really excited. Then once I tried it I was very, very disappointed. I had previously tried all my friends' HAI and loved it so I traded it on Folica and got the HAI instead and I LOVE IT! It works so much better, it's cheaper, it heats up faster and has temperature control. If you're stuck between the two HAI is the best way to go! Hope this helps!

I had the most unruly hair EVER. It was so bad u couldn't even brush it up. Then one day my hairstylist told me she was going to use a new technique on my hair. She told me to close my eyes and i was a little nervous by then. But after 20 minutes, my hair looked almost as good as Beyonce's. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STRAIGTENER FOR ALL THOSE NAPPY ROOTS PEOPLE!!!!

After trying a friends Hai I had to have one of my own. Its the first straightening iron I have owned that left me with silky shiney hair without ANY product! I have had good straightening iron that do a great job before and I was very satisfied with them until I tried the Hai and experienced the difference. I have lots of very thick wavy/curly/frizzy/puffy hair and lots of those fine little baby hairs hear my forehead and temples that are usually impossible to get straight. After I am done I just look like an amazingly lucky girl born with silky straight smooth hair! The Hai can actually handle those little baby hairs! I also get my hair straight faster! Its amazing!

I purchased this product because I decided that it was time for my hair to be “chemical free”. I was skeptical because I didn’t believe that a flat iron could achieve the look of a relaxer. This product is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! The transformation from kinky to straight was effortless. I wish that I’d known about this product years ago!

This flat iron is honestly the best I have ever used. It makes my hear shiny and very soft unlike others that I've used that make my hair dull and stiff. I wouldn't use any other flat because I trust this one the most.

I got a hai not knowing what it would be like but when ifirst used it iwas amazed! my hair felt smoother and perfectly straight. it only takes a short amount of time to straighten your whole head. When my friends are over i make them try my straightener and they love ittoo! All my friends love it and are now buying them over 200 dollar chi's! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my second Hai Convertible to own. It is still a wonderful product, but the first one I had was better quality. I guess the company has made changes to the product and now it doesn't seem as heavy duty and seems to take longer to do my hair, but the end results are still the same.

I love my flat iron... i have frizze curly hair, and when i blow dry it i look like a lion. after using the flat iron on it, people think that i'm lying when i tell them its not naturally straight :)... and the best part is that the hair becomes silky and smooth with no damage what so ever. if you dont buy this product you're a fool.
p.s. I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT...

after reading so many reviews on the different flat irons on follica, I was down to the hai and the sedu. Iam a professional stylist and most of the people I work with have chi's, but I personally was not impressed with them. One of the girls I work with has had to replace her chi 2 times, each lasting under 1 year. She paid $139.00 for it , not a very good bargain if it keeps breaking! I have been using an old bybliss iron at home on my own hair and it was frying. Not to mention it pulled out about ten hairs with every pass! I got the HAI convertible about a month ago, it's WONDERFUL!!! I was really happy about how smooth and shiny my hair is now. I can't believe the difference. After reading all the reviews, I was going to buy the sedu, but then I started reading all the other reviews to see the differences. At 80.00 the HAI seemed like a good deal with so many good reviews. I'm so glad I did, because I can't imagine any other iron being better than this one, and the price is great on the HAI. In my professional opinion, You can't go wrong with the HAI. The follica website was great too, and the Heatproof travel pouch is such a great addition! I've already used it, works like a charm.

I purchased this item for my fiance for Christmas as her straightener was in terrible condition and barely worked. She normally doesn't straighten her hair as it takes forever, but with this straightener she does it everyday. What used to take nearly an hour takes her less than 5 minutes!!! She is so happy with it. I would recommend this product to anyone. I've also noticed that her hair has more shine and stays straight all day long. Great product!

I will make this brief. It turns out beautiful,shiney,and bouncey hair without the grease built-up and heavy weight that other products produce. I didn't know how use it,but, now, I'm familiar with the usages and use a few straightening creams and gels. I'm in LOVE!!! Thanks!!! I love HAI for producing such wonerful product!

I had heard by a couple of different sources that the Hai Convertable was supposed to be the best. However, I have thick long hair and in order to get my hair even somewhat straight I have to go over it several times with this flat iron. It also does not curl very well. I am going to try the Solia and hope that I have better luck.
