I absolutely love this tool 1 swip on the hair and it's straight. I've looked all over and nothing compares, it's even better than a CHI I heard and now I'm a believer!!!!

Product Rating: 5 HAI Convertable Flat Iron
Reviewer: Lisa   Wed Aug 22 2007

In the past I have spent up to $200 on flat irons claiming to be the best. I purchased the HAI because it was under $100 - IT WORKS BETTER than the higher priced brands. I couldn't be any happier with it than I am. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Product Rating: 5 Works great and the results last longer
Reviewer: Irani   Wed Aug 22 2007

Works great and the results last longer. I live in a very humid place, were it is very hard to keep your hair straight for more than 30 min. My hair is very curly, but this iron leaves it straight and shiny for hours. It is better if you straighten your hair with a hair dryer first, and you will damage it less.

Product Rating: 5 Gotta get one!
Reviewer: L. C. from Ladner, BC  Wed Aug 22 2007

I got so many compliments when I got my hair straightened as the salon I had to get my own flat iron. The Hai convertable was recommended and it's fantastic. I have told another friend to by through Folica and she's thrilled.

Product Rating: 5 Great flat iron

I have very thick, hard to manage hair and this flat iron works wonders on it. It heats up quickly and retains heat during the styling process.

Product Rating: 5 So far, so good! (Switched to HAI from CHI)
Reviewer: Julie from Washington, DC  Wed Aug 22 2007

I received my HAI flat iron 3 weeks ago, and am LOVING it. I especially love the free gift of the carrying case that I received; it protects my vanity and allows me to throw my HAI into my suitcase - even when it's still hot!

This flat iron heats up quickly (within less than a minute), and does a beautiful job of making my hair feel silky and smooth. It creates "2-day hair"...meaning that I can simply wake up the morning of Day 2, and GO because my hair still looks fabulous.

I purchased the HAI when the switch on my CHI went bad, and the manufacturer refused to rectify the problem without charging $35.00. (I had owned my CHI for less than a year!)

I am hoping that the switch holds up on the HAI, and am confident that it will. (There are no complaints on the switch going bad on this product; CHI is notorious for this problem.)

I'm a happy customer!

Thanks, Folica!

Product Rating: 4 Really good flat iron.
Reviewer: Barbara from Tennessee  Tue Aug 21 2007

I hesitated to spend $79 on a flat iron when I could get one at a discount store for $20. I have short but thick relatively wavy hair. This took care of it. I don't wear my hair stick straight. I just like for the waves to disappear and to leave full body. This iron does the trick. It was well worth the extra! I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Product Rating: 5 The best I've used
Reviewer: Sara A from Dallas TX  Tue Aug 21 2007

This really is the best flat iron. I live in TX where it's very humid and my hair still stays straight for days! I do have to use the highest setting to achieve that. I also use Paul Sebastian Heat Seal. It is a great product to protect your hair. I tried Sedu and also Chi and Hai by far is the best. Sedu and Chi seemed to damage my hair more and my hair did not look as shiny and healthy as it does with the Hai. I definately recommend this product.

it makes my hair smell burnt, and i have to go over and over my hair to get it straight. granted, i have thick hair, but it just didn't do it for me. i wish i'd tried another brand.

Product Rating: 5 Best Ceramic Flat Iron EVER!!!
Reviewer: Alissa Read from Toronto, Ontario, Canada  Thu Aug 16 2007

The HAI Convertable Ceramic Flat Iron came recommended from my amazing hair stylist!! He purchased it about 5 years ago for over $400, and he told me it works just as great now (5 years later) as it did when he first bought it!!! It's incredible and definitely worth every cent!! I use it everyday and get compliments all the time!! I LOVE the HAI Convertable Ceramic Flat Iron and wouldn't buy anything else!!! :)

Product Rating: 2 just being REAL!!!!!!!
Reviewer: ljg from louisiana  Wed Aug 15 2007

I have used the HAI convertable flat iron for four years. During those four years i have gone through THREE of them. Although i absolutely love the flat iron, i hate the fact that either the cord messes up or the heating coil goes out within 8-10 months of owning them. So i am definitely in search of a different flat iron.

Product Rating: 5 Highly recommended!

Great straightener! My hair is thicker and likes do to it's own thing so it's always been tough to tame. Now I can dry my hair any way I want knowing it well get straight and stay straight with the Hai iron. Great company, great product, and even cheaper than Overstock.com!

I have owned A LOT of straighteners..in fact my friends look to me for straightener reccs! I have never had such straight hair so quick, and I have naturally curly hair! I have hooked all of my friends with what I can definitively say is the best straightener out there!! It heats up really quick and for the price you pay you have a great product that lasts!! I reccomend to anyone!!!

Product Rating: 1 JUNK,left hair burnt, dry and brittle
Reviewer: Lisa L from NE Pennsylvania  Sun Aug 12 2007

I doubt this will be posted but it's worth a shot. Anyone who loves their hair like I love mine will NOT want to buy this. I have Latin/Italian hair, tight, frizzyand naturally curly. The Hai dried out my hair. Within a month the plates started to get wrinkley, then peeling causing lots of breakage. By mid day my hair would poof up and start to curl. I was left with stubs for bangs and lots of breakage throughout my hair. I kept thinking I was using it wrong or the heat setting wasn't right. I have used Biosilk for years, love it, but never got the same results like the reviews had. Not once did I have shiny soft straight hair. All the people who gave great reviews must have wavy hair or a perm, not naturally curly hair. Store bought straighteners worked better than the Hai Convertible and lasted longer. Sometimes cheap is better. TRUST me, Hai is not worth it.
