Now I ACTUALLY have had this product for 3 years and I am in love with it! I have naturally curly hair and i straighten it almost every single day! My HAI is still in PERFECT condition. So I don't know why anyone would complain about having chips in theirs. They are probably stupid and dropped it or something. It has lasted me forever and I swear by it! The cord is also really awesome because it basically never gets tangled on me!

I do not personally have this flat iron but my friend has it and you should see her hair. Her hair is naturally very wavy but now you can't even tell because it is so straight. I own a Beadhead and it is nothing compared to this flat iron. When I walk outside, my hair always starts to get all wavy again. So now I think I am using her flat iron more that mine

I still use my Hai almost every day and after almost 4 years it hasn't broken! My hair is naturally dark brown and now it's been highlighted to a blonde. With use of a hair serum I can get my hair straight and looking pretty healthy. I bought a Sedu to rotate between the irons and the Hai wins by far! My hair just looks and feels healthier when I use it. It's been worth the investment for the type of results I get!

I bought this flat iron a couple years ago and used it everyday! The only problem with it was that the wiring in the plug got messed up from pulling it out the outlet everyday. Even with this problem, I still went ahead and bought the same model again. Just remember to be really delicate when unplugging it from the wall (i.e. pull from the base of the plug and not from the middle of the wire).

I have owned this one for less than a year. The only problem I've ever had is my sister and roommate keep stealing it because they too love it soo much. My hair is pretty long and frizzy. I only have to go over each section once and my hair is straight and ultra soft. I use this in combonation with Big Straight Sexy Hair Smooth & Seal, which is also a great product. This is such a great flatiron and is much better than the 10 or so others I have tried over the years.

I purchased this flat iron 4 or 5 years ago. The past 3 years I've used it almost daily! It has lasted quite a while. The only downfalls are: 1) The blue paint has chipped off in one spot 2) I have to be careful b/c at the end of the ceramic there is a small small crack where a few hairs get stuck at times and pulls at them. But, that should be expected of a flat iron that has lasted so many years! My sister has one as well and said the cord seems to be coming loose where you plug it in, but she's had hers for about 3 years as well. If I had a chance to do it over and get a different one, I don't think I would!
2 YEARS AND COUNTING!

This is the only iron that has not fallen apart on me! I love it. Its great. Heats quick leaves my hair silky smooooth. I've had the CHI and other irons before but they all had electrical cord issues. One advice to all women (and men) who use blow dryers and irons.....DONT WRAP THE ELECRICAL CORDS AROUND THE PRODUCT WHEN STORING!!! It gives the cord a horrible twist that wont come out and destros the product. Fun fact. Anyways...I LOVE THE HAI! ::loyal customer::

it looks as though its not real good quality ... the blue paint on the iron is chipping off and i have only had this iron for a couple months and i do not use it daily :( pretty upset that somethig i spent so much money on is chipping i wonder if this is harming my hair more?
over all it does straighten well but the iron doesnt seem to be good quality. as a warning it could fall apat on you.

For the money I think this was a great purchase. I have very thick curly hair and this little guy can tame even my hair. I've just recently realized that's its now pulling my hair and the cord has taken on a mind of itw own wrapping all over it's self. All and All its a great product.

I recently purchased this Hai flat iron and I love it! It straightens my hair really well. I have thick long hair and it does a great job on my hair. I would tell anyone to purchase this particular flat iron if they were looking for a really good one to purchase!

I just recently purchased my flat iron (Hai) however in less than a week, I have already noticed that the flat iron is loose when you go to close it amd this is not what I expected especially when it was recommended from a beautician!

This is the best flat iron I have ever owned! Takes less than a minute to heat up and less than 15 minutes to style my hair. My hair comes out shiney and soft. I've had so many compliments I've lost track. Even by men! Thank you HAI!!

This is one of the best straightners - I have had several, my two daughters and I all use this one. They last longer then most and the only problem I have ever had is with the cord.
