I am transitioning from relaxed to natural hair, and with my this flat iron you can not tell the difference. I have very coarse and thick hair and I have tried several different flat irons, such as the CHI and FHI, and none gave me the results like HAI. My hair is smooth, shiny, and weightless. I love that I am able to change the temperature and it's easy to clean after using. I will recommend this straightener, especially for the price I got it on Folica.

I love my HAI Flat Iron. I have very thick and wavy hair, and I usually am never able to straighten my own hair. I quickly received the HAI product and I was in awe of how straight my hair got!

I CAN'T STYLE HAIR FOR NOTHIN IN THE WORLD-I'VE BEEN MY HAIR DONE ONCE A WEEK FOR THE PAST 10YEARS- AFTER BUYING THIS PLAT IRON THRU MY STYLIST- I ONLY SEE HER EVERY SIX WEEKS TO GET MY HAIR TRIMMED! Still working after 4 years

I got this straightener in early 2006 and it's still working beautifully. I use it almost every day and it leaves my hair shiny and smooth. Before this, my straighteners broke every couple months... I've dropped it several times and the cord is always all tangled but it still works. I have curly/frizzy hair.

I love (loved) my HAI, but there are problems with the cord. I've read many reviews from people who said it stopped working or the cord was tempermental (moving the cord around makes it turn off)...and that's what happened to me after 1 year. On the plus side it worked better than a CHI for me...very smooth, shiny and didn't pull/snag my hair at all like many others do.
