I bought the Hai flat iron and it's not even a year old and the cord shorted out. I don't wind the cord around it cuz that's bad..yet the it is not working like it should. The warranty on it does not cover the cord shorting out just be careful about the flat irons you buy because these guys don't give it a 100% warranty if anything defective happens to it. I won't purchase their's again for the money I plunked down for it.

Wow!The $105 Hai 2 Ceramic Flat Iron is awesome. It turned my thick, dry, poufy, wavy hair into sleek, straight, shiny, smooth hair - the kind of hair I always dreamed of. By the way,I also have the $85 HAI Convertable Ceramic Flat Iron. I think this iron works a little better than the HAI 2. But both irons are great. I love them both.

I have thick curly hair and it was smooth in 1/2 hour. I'm really impressed with the shipping- it got to BC in 2 DAYS!!! I'm also happy that there was no surprize charges when it arrived. I have tried the Chi and I like the Chi better but that was because it was a 1" not 2". I find the 2" a bit too wide. Overall though this is a good investment.

people shouldnt complain that this flat iron dries out your hair or gives you split ends or gets too hot or whatever. if you want your hair straight, you're just going to have to deal with the consequences. also, its not just this iron. any good straighener will have some damaging effects to your hair. its just what us curly haired people have to sacrifice to get our hair straight!
...and yes i do have this iron.. its fantastic!

This straightener is great! I used to have the Hot Tools Professional Flat Iron and I thought it worked fine. But then I bought this one and I was amazed! I have extremely frizzy, thick, wavy hair, and after I straighened it, my hair was shiny and stick straight. And plus, my Hot Tools one took me about 40 minutes to do my hair, and this one only took 15. It's definitely worth the 105 bucks!!

i just got my *new* flat iron and love it! i think that this is the best one out there for the best price! i have thick wavy hair adn this flat iron makes it look totally straight adn somewhat thinner! ONE THING: dont go trying to find a straightner that will make your hair look thin!! sry all you gurls like me w/ extremly wavy hair! BUT this falt iron makes a HUGE difference! you shud seriousoly get it!!! xoxo

ladies....no more searching. this is the flat iron you need! i have gone through 3 other flat irons...all took me about 2 hours to straighten my hair. The Hai 2 takes about 30 minutes. I only have to do a quick touchup once a day. And your hair wont curl as soon as you step outside.

I am completely dissatisfied with the HAI 2 Cermaic Flat Iron. I read so many of the reviews and hoped that it would work for my hair. I figured something that good could give my curly Lebanese hair that soft straight feel without the frizz; instead of doing all that, it ruined my ends horribly and didn't straighten my hair well at well. I would have gotten the bion flat iron or chi instead. If you want great results, DON'T GET THE HAI 2!!!

This flat iron is absolutley amazing! I just got mine this morning. With my old Conair iron, it took me 2.5 hours to straighten my hair, it takes less than half that time with this iron! This iron is amazing, it makes my hair so straight and soft. I would definitely reccomend this flat iron, it's worth every penny.

This has saved my life! i've tried so many that made my hair wavy n frizzy again after 45 minutes! with HAI stays all day long. I absolutly love it! its my new best friend!

I have used several flat irons in the past and found the HAI 2 to be one of the best. However, it gets extremely hot. Almost too hot, because it dried my out really bad. My favorite flat iron is the chi with the blue plates. If I could do it over I would've bought the Chi instead. Also, I have long hair, but the plates on the HAI were almost too big. Hope this helps.

This was my first ceramic flat iron. A brush and hair dryer works throughout most of the winter, but on rainy, humid days (and the entire summer) I felt like I had to wear my hair up all the time! It would start to curl up the minute I walked outside. I brought a cheap drug store flat iron a few years ago and it was horrbile (fried my hair, took forever to heat and was such a pain to use that I never bothered). After a redent conversation with friends who use ceramic irons I decided to try a better model. I read all the reviews and chose the Hai 2. Very glad I did. It heats very fast and is easy to use. It leaves my medium/long hair smooth and VERY shiny -- no dammage at all -- even to the ends! It actually makes my hair look and feel healthier, which I never thought a flat iron could do. This will definitely get me through the horrible, humid Wash. DC summers! Also, Folica had it to me THE NEXT DAY (and it was free shipping) -- how did they do that?

It's my first flat iron and I just received it and tried it...It makes a very good job,it takes me about 15 minutes to have really straight and nice hair(and I'm not experienced with an iron)...even if I have really thick hair...negative point: I live in canada and the shipping cost were way too much expensive and there's no instruction that comes with the iron. For a first try it made a good job but just have to see if it will last...hope I'll enjoy it :)

i just got this for my birthday and what a great present it was!!! i got the results i wanted, shiny smoother hair. i previosuly got the hot tools straighenr, but it KILLED my hair, it was so dry and had no shine, with the hai i got what i wanted!! these plates protect your hair, and that is truly amazing, i love this straighenr, its worth every penny

I this is my 3rd straightner. I have even chemically straightened my hair. I cna't even tell you how easy this iron is. It makes my hair shiny and healthy looking. I can't live without it. I was hesitant about the money but it's worth it. I look forward to doing my hair!

Just received the HAI 2 Ceramic Flat Iron and am mightily impressed. WARNING: It gets VERY HOT (400 degrees F)!!! I've burned my fingers and top of my forehead because of my carelessness. After a few tries, I'm slowly getting the knack. It's a great iron. Warms up so fast and does a great job staightening my hair. I'm very happy with my purchase. Worth the expense. Hope it lasts....
