After having my hair cut and professionally flat ironed, I never wanted to go back to the cheap Sally's Beauty iron again! I read every single review on this site for HAI2 before making the purchase - I consider $90 a bit extravagant for a flat iron. I'm a mixed race woman (black & white) with thick, frizzy hair. This iron allows me to have the straight hair I've always wanted with virtually no other products in my hair. The only product I need is a heat-protecting spray, which I use as I flat iron each section. This was the best investment I've made in years. I've had the iron for about 2 months and have had no issues either with the cord or the plates, but I am very careful because the other reviewers say that dropping the appliance or wrapping the cord around it may cause short outs. This is simply the best flat iron I've ever owned and I cannot imagine doing my hair again without it.

This is the second HAI flat iron of this kind I had to buy, after the first one's electrical wire became disconnected and wouldn't stay on. I love the straightener, but was dissapointed that it broke within about a year and a half of purchasing it.

I love the iron, it glides so smoothly through my hair and since I have longer hair the wide plate get the job done that much faster

Prior to owning the Hai 2 I ordered the Hai Convertible. I ordered it because I wanted a wider iron. The Hai 2 was such a dissapointment. I received the first on and it was faulty. I returned it and FOLICA was wonderful about it. I received my new one with in a week or so. But the second one did the same thing. It didn't work as well as the convertible. I still own it, but unfortunately it collects dust in my closet. I wanted to call FOLICA again for that iron but I felt it was going to be frowned upon. However my Hai convertible is the best iron on the planet. I LOVE the Hai convertible, and my hair is down to my waist.I'm from the Dominican Republic and I relax my hair. I get more compliments when I do my hair myself then when I go to the salon. Even in the rain my hair does not frizz up. I can really say that I don't know how I survived without it. I did alot of research before I purchased an iron. I even tried a couple of them. I love my Hai convertible.

I've had this flat iron for over 2 years now and it still works as well as it did the first time I bought it. I'm half-black,half-white and in the past had used Hot Tools metal irons. But I noticed my hair becoming fried and damaged, so I decided to make an investment in a ceramic iron. I did alot of research and decided on the HAI, and I will never use another brand!!

I love this flat iron. I was going to go for the 2" CHI flat iron that was priced much higher, and I'm glad I didn't. I've used both, and I like this one just as much. It heats up quickly, works super fast, and hasn't damaged my somewhat course and porous hair. I really love it!

This iron is great...I haven't found an iron better than this one. I makes my hair so straight and it never makes my hair tips look burnt. I really recommend this hair iron to everyone who's looking for one.

I have tried a lot of flat irons, but this brand is by far the best that I have bought! I have thick hair and the smaller irons took forever to use on my hair. I also like the HAI ceramic iron as it does not fry my hair like the others that I've tried.
Folica.com is great! Not only was the product in stock, they also had the best prices compared to everywhere else I looked!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! That's basically all that needs to be said. It not only makes my hair completaly straight, but it adds shine and a silky feel. I get so many compliments about my hair. Honestly, this product does make your hair look great. IT REALLY WORKS!

My husband purchased the HAI2 flat iron for me approximately one month ago. I have been very satisfied with the quality of the product and the results I have gotten with it.
I am person who has tried ironing my hair in the 60's and straightening it with products that dried it out in the 70's. I tried letting it curl but it never worked for me.
After using this flat iron the first time, I was amazed at how nicely my hair straightened and stayed straight even in damp weather. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it to others. Also, my hairdresser was going to sell me the same iron for $185! I really appreciated your pricing. Thank you.

I've been straightening my hair for over 7 years. The HAI straightener is by far the best straightener i've ever used!!! I've used all kinds of straighteners....from conair to professional salon flat irons!!! HAI 2 is the perfect size flat iron to get your job done FAST and GREAT!!!! I suggest you buy it!!!

I have very thick hair which is salt & pepper. Grey hair is a problem to straighten, not with this!!!

Excellent iron. It didn't snag my hair like metal irons do, it straightens much more quickly, and my hair is very soft afterwards. Highly recommended ^_^

you will love this straightener! i originally had thick curly hair and then chemically relaxed it to form slight waves. however, i still wanted straight hair so i bought this hai and its awesome! it makes my hair like silk its DEFINENTLY worth your money

I purchased this flat iron a few years ago for my daughter. She has big fat wavy hair. She uses the flat iron every day, which is quite a bit of use and it still works great. Her hair looks silky like Barbie doll hair when she uses the HAI2.
