I have used this product religiously for about a month with little change in hair color. I will continue to use it because it is easy to use but so far, not much bang for the buck.

I have been using the Grecian Plus foam for a month with great results. The best of it is that it is a gradual darkening process which you have control of. I am very happy with the results I have gotten and will continue use.

Hardly seems worth it to me. I've been using it now for 3 or 4 weeks...I was a littel curious about the smell and the Lead Acetate. I looked that material up on the internet only to find out it's highly toxic carcinogen. Check out this link to a study done on the chemical. Really bad stuff.

I was going to try this product until I read the Warning: below the Directions. It contains Lead Acetate, an extremely hazardous chemical. Since this product is intended to be used over a prolonged lenght of time, resulting in both skin contact AND inhallation of the fumes, I would venture to STRONGLY advise everyone to avoid and/or discontinue it's use.

I have used this product for 3 weeks. It is not working. The instruction said that I should not shampoo my hair during the first 3 weeks. It makes my hair very smelly. At the end, it did not work at all.

I've been using the foam since 9/15. Today is 11/1. Hardly any change. I've never followed directions with any product like I have with this one. No shampooing, no pools, apply to dry hair, blah, blah, blah. Hardly any change in my gray. But, I'll say they have me hooked. On my second can, what do I do. Forego the last 6 weeks or trudge onward. Disappointed it's not working as advertized.

at first the idea of changing my grey ( because you do look older with gray hair ) slowly was appealing, but it does take time with this product and it smells.
I've seen results.. I'm pleased ........but.
I'm worried how this product is discontinued, also it is an irritant to sensitive skin, before I continue to use it, how about explaining the lead factor.. also contained in youth hair ...leading to cancer or skin irritation,
and finally ..can the odor be changed for perfume, ..instead of a wife repellant!?

A couple of months ago I got a rather short haircut and I noticed that I was becoming quite gray underneath at my temples and on the top of the back of my head. I began looking into the 5 minute coloring hair dyes, when I realized that there will be a period when the roots begin showing the gray again, so I thought that the Grecian Plus Gray Control Foam (if it works), will prevent that from happening; because you use it on a weekly maintenance schedule, after the first several weeks of applying it daily. So I tried it (it does smell), but it does work; and without making any mess.

I would not buy this again. I hate the smell. It lingers on you for ever. It did blend in my grey alittle. The hair salons now do the same thing with better results and no smell. That treatment is just a shampoo and has to be done every 3 months...does the same as the smelly stuff does, it just blends in the grey.

I have been using Grecian products for about 3 years now. I am finally used to the smell. I use it at night so that I can wash it out with my morning shower. The color has been good, but there is a point when my hair will not darken any further. It does take 2-3 weeks to see a change- mostly from grey to softer grey to blondish grey. I am a natural Dark Brown and it never has gotten dark on the very grey areas ( side burns and temples ). Over all a good product.

Have been a user of Grecian Plus Gray Control Foam for MANY years and find it to be an excellent product in all regards, i.e., hair control and hair coloring. The only problem is that it is getting hard to find since Wal-Mart quit carrying it a couple of months ago.

I've only been using the product for a week and a half, but it smells so bad, I have to shampoo every other day so my head doesn't reek. So far, little color change, if any -- probably because I'm shampooing more than recommended.
How do other users deal with the smell?
And wy can't the Grecian Formula chemists develop a product that's odorless?

Out of the three Grecian products (gel, liquid and foam) the foam worked best for me. Why is it that everytime you find a product that works all the stores in the area decide to discontinue it? What happened to the "full service" motto?? Jack.

FOR whome it might concerne. I am using grecian plus formula for the last 6 years. I started it at age 65. I got some results but not too happy with the rsults. Why does my hear look kind of redish, my natural color was brown, why does it look more like redish or slightly blondish I might say.
What bothers me is the redish color. I wasn't able to reach a darker color or brown. Can this be corrected? and how? Please let know. Thank you. Gregory.S.

I found this product is easy to use and it works. The local Drug Stores have discontinued purchasing the product.
I have been looking for a source since I am almost out of this great hair treatment for coloring.
