I have had this flat iron for over 2 years and it is the greatest thing. Unfortunately I paid $200.00 at cost...a friend got it for me from the salon she worked at. Well one of the ceramic plates fell off...leaving me very disappointed.I decided to read the reviews and found out that you can glue it together with a special kind of glue epoxy glue...well I'm pleased to say it works better today than when it was brand new!!!
Many thanks to the husband who wrote about the repair and Thanks to the product inventer. I must admit I do not agree with the high cost of this iron but because it works GREAT...I would borrow from the bank to purchase it again!!!!! My hair appearance means alot to me.

After reading other reviews, I was amazed at the consistency in difficulties we all have had with this product. My iron first shorted out, at the swivel site. I was able to return it to the salon, but they were not happy about it. They made it quite clear that they didn't want to be bothered , having to return it for me. Then one of the plates came loose. Thank you to the husband that recommended the epoxy. I will try it.

I loved my iron at first. The wiring on it must be screwed or something. My iron for a while would shut on and of while I was using it, and now it doesn't even work. My friend's is doing the same thing. I feel I didn't even have it long enough to get my money's worth. There's a year warranty on mine, to bad it messed up on right on the 11th month.

My wife loves this product to keep her very long hair straight. However, like many other posters, the iron fell off the bathroom counter and one of the Ceramics broke loose. Finally used "JB Wield” to glue it back together. It is the only glue I have found that works. You can get it at Lowes/Home Depot, come in two bottles that you mix together first. Had a bad glue smell first couple times using the iron but it has held ever since.
Would still like to replace it, but we do not have a receipt and the hairdresser that purchased it for my wife is gone. Any suggestions?

I have had this flat iron now for almost two years and it works wonders but just this past weekend I went to use it.. and one of the sides just popped right off. Well I tried tying it down and super gluing it but it wouldn't work and then the other side just popped out. I need a new one but didn't know if there is some sort of warranty or not. I got this from a salon owner that ordered it for me and now I need a new one! Any suggestions?

I found out about this product through my hairdresser and I am absolutely amazed. I have purchased several other straightening products and tools to straighten my hair and nothing worked better than this product. My hair is healthy, shiney and looking gorgeous. I am selling on my friends and family on this product.Definitely one of my best purchases and investments.

This company refunds your straightener if it breaks, you just have to send your broken one in and they'll give you a brand new one.. so you cant stop whining about how it breaks easily.

Great flat iron -- but the longevity is horrible! According to the majority of the other reviews, I'm far from the only person who has experienced this. I agree with one of the other reviewers in that this costs way too much money to stop working so quickly.

i love this striaghtner SOO much and i resently just dropped it and its stopped working and i cant afford to buy a new one, but i love it so much go for it and buy it i know if i could i DEFINITLY would buy another one

I have thick, damaged hair that I could never wear down in my life. I was always so jealous of girls with silky hair that they could just wear straight down. The first time I tried this I was simply amazed. My hair is horrible too & this worked & continued to work like a charm every time I used it. A bad thing though is that it damages your hair. BAD. So you have to keep up on trims. I'm talking like once every month, month & a half. It damages it from top to bottom so you almost have to use it everyday to tame all the damage b/c it is evident in every hair style you have. I had mine for 2 years & then something went wrong with the wiring. So I had to do a punch of twisting & turning with the cord to use it for a couple of weeks. And then one day I picked it up & one of the plates just popped off! It hasn't worked since then. But it did work great for nearly two years so I'm pretty happy. It's a little pricey though so I've been holding off on getting a new one b/c I don't want it to break again & I don't know if this company has warranties on their products. I've been searching the web & reviews of other straighteners. But I have a feeling that I'll end up with this one again b/c I just loved it & simply can't live without it. I'm going as crazy as my hair looks!

I enjoyed this straightener alot. Sadly, on my trip to France, somehow I messed it up with the wrong electrical switch and it died on me.
Now I have ordered another one and cannot wait to have it delivered.
My hair is the worst kind, thick, coarse, extremely curly. But this straightener honestly has been heaven sent!! I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Global Beauty Ceramic Hair Straightener is wonderful. It heats up in less than a minute and gets my hair straighter than I have ever gotten it before. I work in a salon and they dont even use as good of a product. I encourage everyone to get one. You can tell the straightener doesnt ruin your hair as it smoothly goes over each strand, in comparison from the crunching and pulling a gold plated straightener would.

This straightner works very, very good on my hair.. this is my second one that im buying..and its amazing.. i never got my hair so straight..and since is so small i am able to get it so close my head for the little curls .. i love this straightner..and i think that everyone should own one..

I love this product. My hair is naturally curly and this straightens it flat & shiny. A friend had a less expensive item, and it worked ok on my hair, took about 5 swipes at each section, plus it left my hair full of static. The GLOBAL product left my hair straight & soft - no static at all,

This is a great straightener. I had an aneurysm a year and a half ago and they shaved my head for the surgery. When my hair started to grow back in, I decided not to relax it anymore. My hair is water wavy and pretty hard to manage. I usually straigthen it with a straightening comb and it does okay, but my neighbor straightened it one day with global beauty and the results were excellent. I have been trying to find it in stores and I haven't (my friend bought them in San Antonio) been able to find them. But now that I have, I am definitely going to buy a pair.

No matter which new flat iron I would try to use nothing worked like this flat iron my stylist used on my hair after a regular color and cut. My friends were shocked to see me with such shiny healthy looking straight hair! They were always used to my natural thick spirals. This product was amazing and I have never found anything better. I've had this flat iron since 5-30-02 and until a couple weeks ago it was a beautiful thing how easy it was to have the straight hair I always wanted. One day I was using the iron (like I did any other day) and it cracked in my hand- Then one of the sides just broke in half and only the wires are holding it together... there's only a one year period when they will give you a new product... so what happens when you've had it for two and it just brakes?! I can't afford to just buy a new one.. but I need it badly! Can anyone help!?
