for a long time all my friends had a global beauty straightener and i wanted 1 so bad. I finally got 1 and its AWESOME! the only thing thats bad is that 1 of my friends had a global beauty and it lasted for about a year or 2. SO FAR MINE HAS LASTED AND WORKED AWESOME! GET A Global Beauty RIGHT NOW AND HAVE THE SRAIGHTEST HAIR EVER!

i had a cheap straightener i bought for about 50 dollars. now i have extremely curly hair so it took about an hour to straighten and blowdry it and it still didnt look very cute. when i started using a Global Beauty, i found out it is well work its money, it takes less time and makes it look straighter without frying your hair

I have been using a Global Beauty flat iron for a little over 3 years, and i love it! i have very tight curls and it makes my hair stright as a board. The only thing is I always have to return it after about 6 months... i do get another one free because of the 1 year guarentee.. but the cord always seems to pull out... if u do happen to get one.. DO NOT WRAP THE CORD... and its probably better to just leave it on your counter or wherever u will use it. my first hair strightener was GREAT!!! but it broke so i got another one and it wasnt as good as the first one. everytime i send them back they get worse and worse and i have yet to get one as good as the first one. its like theyre making them cheaper or something.
Far better than the wigo jade stone flat iron!

I went to the store to purchase the Global Beauty flat iron after using a friends. I was then persuaded by the seller to purchase the wigo jade stone flat iron. Which I did due to the 10yr warranty. I then told a friend about the great deal and after going through two jade stone irons she finally got one that worked. She was also dissatisfied with the jade stone iron and returned it immediately for the Global Beauty flat iron. We are both very very happy!

I really love my Global Beauty. It has changed my life in terms of hair. I have only had it for a month, so haven'd had any problems with it. I heard that if you take care of it, and don't wrap the cord around it when you put it away after use - it will last you for a long time.

Having tried for years to maintain very unruly hair with hair tools such as curling irons and straighteners found in regular retail stores-without much success-I have been using the Global Beauty for about 2 yaers, and cannot beleive the difference! Not only does my hair stay in a straight style all day, I no longer need to do touch-up restyling, and my hair looks very healthy-it doesn't get burned like it did with other products. I paid $150.00 for it and have never regreted it! This product has also held up very well (it's been dropped more than once!) and is working as well as the first day I got it. I highly recommend this product!

I have bought three or four straighteners and have spent quite a bit of time sectioning off my thick hair in order that I may try to straighten small amount of hair at a time. I can tell a difference in my hair; however, it is definitely not the results I get with Global Beauty.
A teacher friend of mine had purchased a Global Beauty, and she had it at school one day. After school one day one of my students wanted to straighten my hair. She did not take the time to section my hair and within a few minutes my hair was straighter than it has ever been. It took less than half the time.
After the second time of having my hair straightened, I had to find out what kind of straightener she owned. Hopefully, I will be able to purchase one soon. My college daughter will love it, too!!!

This ceramic flat iron is the BEST hairstyling purchase I have ever made. I have naturally curly, very frizzy hair, and I have never been able to straighten it before - even after getting my hair relaxed (which only lasted a few weeks and I still had to do alot of styling to get my hair straight). When using the iron on my hair I am able to get it almost effortlessly straight and smooth, with absolutely no frizz (previously unheard of with my hair). This is an amazing product for straightening and smoothing curly, frizzy, unruly hair. Make sure not to wrap the cord around the iron to avoid messing up the circuitry. While it is pricey, you will not get these results with a cheaper flat iron. I think it is totally worth the cost.

I have Curly hair and I always wanted my hair straightened. My mom came home from a hair show with the Global Beauty and we tried it and it work Great.I can now wear my hair straight or curly .The Global Beauty is such a marvelous Product if you don't have it you should get it.

This iron straightens my hair! I have coarse, curly, bushy hair that only straightened with a large round brush and blowdryer. With this CHI flat iron I just wash, air dry then straigten. It doesn't pull off or break my hair and with just one stroke I have shiny, stick straight hair. It stays soft and shiny til I wash it. I've tried everything else I even chemically straightened my hair but with this staightening iron I found that I didn't really need all of that to have shiny, straight hair. I love it!

I have had this flat iron for over 2 years and it is the greatest thing. Unfortunately I paid $200.00 at cost...a friend got it for me from the salon she worked at. Well one of the ceramic plates fell off...leaving me very disappointed.I decided to read the reviews and found out that you can glue it together with a special kind of glue epoxy glue...well I'm pleased to say it works better today than when it was brand new!!!
Many thanks to the husband who wrote about the repair and Thanks to the product inventer. I must admit I do not agree with the high cost of this iron but because it works GREAT...I would borrow from the bank to purchase it again!!!!! My hair appearance means alot to me.

After reading other reviews, I was amazed at the consistency in difficulties we all have had with this product. My iron first shorted out, at the swivel site. I was able to return it to the salon, but they were not happy about it. They made it quite clear that they didn't want to be bothered , having to return it for me. Then one of the plates came loose. Thank you to the husband that recommended the epoxy. I will try it.

I loved my iron at first. The wiring on it must be screwed or something. My iron for a while would shut on and of while I was using it, and now it doesn't even work. My friend's is doing the same thing. I feel I didn't even have it long enough to get my money's worth. There's a year warranty on mine, to bad it messed up on right on the 11th month.

My wife loves this product to keep her very long hair straight. However, like many other posters, the iron fell off the bathroom counter and one of the Ceramics broke loose. Finally used "JB Wield” to glue it back together. It is the only glue I have found that works. You can get it at Lowes/Home Depot, come in two bottles that you mix together first. Had a bad glue smell first couple times using the iron but it has held ever since.
Would still like to replace it, but we do not have a receipt and the hairdresser that purchased it for my wife is gone. Any suggestions?

I have had this flat iron now for almost two years and it works wonders but just this past weekend I went to use it.. and one of the sides just popped right off. Well I tried tying it down and super gluing it but it wouldn't work and then the other side just popped out. I need a new one but didn't know if there is some sort of warranty or not. I got this from a salon owner that ordered it for me and now I need a new one! Any suggestions?
