My hair is very curly. It usually takes me about to 1 hour and 45 minutes to straighten my hair. On day i went over to this friends house who had the straightener and she gave it to me. It worked awesome. It only took me about 25 to 30 minutes to straighten my hair. I've had the staightner for about 9-10 months. But one day it fell off the bathroom counter and one of the gold plates came off. I tried to put them back together but they wouldn't stay.

I have long, thick, curly hair and have never been able to get it super straight- blowing it out was a joke. It just looked fluffy and frizzy. Other straightening irons just tangled it. My sister owns the Global Beauty and tried it out on my hair as a challenge. It was AMAZING!!! It looked shiny and perfect and not fluffy at all. I could run my fingers through it and it lasted for two days without a single wave.

I have amazingly thick thick hair. I have gone through probably about 10 differant types of straightners then finnaly bought a Global Beauty iron. The one I have now is the second one I have had because I broke it by dropping it. But we sent it into the company and they sent us a new one. So do not complain about it breaking when you are the one breaking it. And they always give refunds/new straightners. It has a life time warranty afterall. With my hair it is worth the money.

I went to the beauty salon today and my hair is extremely curls and when I used it, I was so amazed! I looked so much better. My friends all like my hair, if you don't like your, I suggest this. Its all worth it in the end. If your a teenager like me, beg your parents!

I have really thick wavy hair. It sometimes could be comepared to a lions mane! I was nannying and the father's sister was visiting. I saw she had this hair straightner on the counter and thought of trying it. I assumed it would be pretty good because she works at a hair salon and would know what would work good. AND IT DID!!! I don't think my hair ever looked like that...ever! It was so smooth, soft, and straight! It made my hair look even longer which is great cause I'm trying to grow it out! When I stopped by my families house they noticed right aways. They kept saying how long it was. I almost felt like those models on those shampoo commercials! :) Everyday I'd go over there I use it. I even tried buying a hair straightner I thought would be just as good, and it wasen't! I'm going to be screwed when she leaves and takes it with her. I have to get one!! It's the best out there!

This straigntener is amazing, it heats up instantly and is so quick and easy to use, i recommend it to EVERYONE!!

It works GREAT and straightens amazing , but i must say , i have very thin , a little bit frizzy hair , and after using this iron i have TONS of breakage in the front , at the roots . be careful not to use it in one place too long .

My friend's hair is very curly, but she wears it pin straight to school, when I asked her how she does it she showed me this AMAZING straightener. I HAD to get one for myslef. It's QUICK, EASY,PERFECT, and awsome. I was so happy with it!My hair looked so beautifull and your will too, I highly recommend this straightener.

this straitner is amazing. My friends come over before big events jsut to use it. it's the best hair straightner ever. It heats up quick and striantens fast. Best straigthener i have ever used. (It got recomended to me by my hair dresser)

Well, I have been on the lookout for a replacement to my old OLD hair iron for quit some time now. Where I live, they do not sell this stuff, so I looked on the web. And in a couple of minutes i found the 1 inch Global Beauty Ceramic Hair Straightener at Folica. All this time not knowing about this great product, and it has been there all along!. Well, now I got it, and I will never turn back to regular $30 hair irons again. Yes to great hair days forever.
Everyday is a great hair-day!

My sister talked me into trying her Global flat iron a few years ago. I have long hair that I thought looked pretty good until I tried her flat iron. It was amazing! Then, I was at my hairdresser getting a cut for a job interview and she used a Global on my hair (I got the job!). Later, my sister bought me one as a gift and I feel beautiful everyday. Two days ago, I left it at my gym (space case that I am) and when I went back the next day, no one had turned it in. I was ridiculously upset and am sure it was a combination of getting ripped off and I hate to admit it, but, I think the thought of going without my beautiful hair really bothered me. I might mention that I am 52 years old and, well, good hair is important! So, I went to the local beauty supply store and bought the best one they had. It was awful. Stuck to my hair, wasn't smooth like the Global, and my hair didn't have that polished look. Today, I found Global on the Internet and bought a replacement. It is so worth the price and I only hope it arrives before I leave for vacation this Friday! I took the other thing back to the store for a refund. I would rather not have a flat iron than have to use anything but the Global, seriously. And really, I am not a fake-nail/tons of make-up/all that vain kind of gal! I am a teacher and I just have always enjoyed my hair and have always had compliments on it. Being without my Global for a few days will be rough, like I said, especially if it doesn't get here by Friday, but I vow never to abandon it again! I gained a Zen kind of lesson, to be present and pay attention. Plus, I asked the gal at the counter at my gym to please ask me everyday if I have everything :) I am also not one to spend money. My boyfriends mother has this flat iron and I asked her if I could use it!! Now every time I go over there I find myself using her flat iron everytime!! This flat iron reaches maximum heat levels without leaving your hair brittle!! It always makes my hair look salon perfect!! If I could post a picture at the moment I would but you can take my word for it!! It is well worth the buy!

This iron has saved my hair. It is amazing. It only lasted two years but I would rather spend fifty dollars a year on a GREAT iron then waste twenty bucks on an iron that isnt worth a flip. I do wish they would improve the life of the iron though. I don't know how I would ever go on withuot this product.

my friend let me borrow the straightner and my hair was straight in one stroke it was awesome i have a revlon straightner and it was working great for maybe two weeks and then would not heat up as good or straighten my hair that good and would not last at all. so now every time i go to her house i always use the straightner!!!!

I bought mine from my beauty salon for 150.00. I originally thought I probably was "taken" price wise, but I have had mine now for over two years and between myself and my daughter, it is used daily. My daughter is African American and white and this is the only straightener that works on her hair. It works great on mine too. I have tried other straighteners and this is the only one I will ever use. I found this website today as I was looking to buy another one. Well worth the money and also, I probably dont take the best care of it. It has been placed in luggage, back of vehicle, etc and keeps on working! It is tough! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE STORE BOUGHT ONES!

With this flat iron you will never have a bad hair day. It heats up in a couple of seconds and leaves your hair straight and smooth. It is well worth the money.

i have always had super thick and wavy hair that would easily get all knotted up... but one day my sister had a friend over who naturally had hair like me but always straightens it, so they tried it on me aand it worked sooo well. it was also fast and easy because it didnt take long to heat up. my hair was so straight that i want to buy one now, so that means i have to save up all summer, but IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!!! i <3 this straightener!p.s. it also stayed straight in the rain ttoo!

Today I got my hair cut at a new salon. Have not had a decent style in more than 2 yrs. The stylist lightly layered my hair and during the course of conversation, I asked how to get the super straight look. I live in humid OK and my hair has been so frizzy. I don't have time to mess with it and want to look professional. She used the iron and WOW! I'm sold! She suggested that I spend less dollars on another brand, but promised I'd not be happy with it and would probably end up coming to her to buy this one. Of course, she really knows how to pitch the product, so I'm going to spend the $108 this week and have her order it for me! Definitely worth it! So long to frizzies this summer!
Oh, one other thing..being early 40s and at the local WMt store, a teenager warned me that Conair wasn't the best buy, so I decided that I would stick with the stylist's recommendation.
