My daughter had used my old ceramic iron and loved it, my old iron went out and I ordered two just like it, but the new ones have the temperature control. I love the way it makes my hair look and feel. I had only used a ceramic iron from Global Beauty and I knew the quality of the iron.

This is a great Iron! I have thick, naturally curly hair that is hard to straightened, I had been using cheaper irons which quickly burned out or didn't get hot enough. This iron works best if you use small sections of hair, but you only have to run it thru one time, it gets my hair stick straight. I use the hottest setting because of my hair type. Its worth the money you pay for it.

Everyday when I was doing my hair, i've put them on in a pony tail because I hated my wavy hair. Since i've had my straightner, i can't go anywhere without it! I feel more beautifuland confident about my hair and it takes less then 10 minutes! Plus you can curl it or iron it! WOW!

I have very thick and coarse curly hair! I have tried several other straighteners in the past. And paid a lot more money for one in the past. None work as well as this one. It is small enough to ge the hard to straighten areas around your face, but large enough that it doesn't take all day. I have had several comments on how good my hair looks since I purchased the global beauty. I highly recommend!!!!

This hair straightner has been by far the best hair product I have purchased in my lifetime. Its so easy to use, ready in seconds, it seriously has cut my "getting ready time" in half. I love it.

I have noticed based on some reviews, most flat irons last until the cord starts to loosen at the bottom of the iron. I have used the same flat iron (Global Beauty-CHI)since the day they came out on the market; I actually paid a lot for mine because my hairdresser got it for me at her beauty supply store. Overall just be inmind when purchasing the iron that it will last for approx. three years; It really depends on how often one uses it. I used mine twice a week at most, over the past three years; however, the product is awesome,when it is working.

I have very curly, frizzy hair. I swear I've tried almost every iron on the market. This iron is wonderful! However, I've purchased two. They've both broken within a year. I just have to say save your receipt and send in the warranty.

i have been using a flat iron for a long time that needed to be replaced. i purchased the global beauty and haven't a single regret. the price was great. it's lightweight, is safer for my hair, is easy to travel with in my suitcase and heats up in less than 20 seconds.

I have had natural curly (and frizzy) hair all of my life! Have spent a bazillion dollars on anything that I thought would tame it. This is the first time I can say that this product is worth every penny. It straightens it and it stays straight! Live in Florida with high humidity...but that doesn't matter any more!

It is the best straightener I have ever used! It was recommended to me and was well worth the $$. Even when I have had my hair in a pony tail all day, it will straighten out the lumps- love it!

Not only can I now style my hair in record time, it is straighter, softer and healthier. I don't need to spend as much money on trims and deep conditioners any more to keep my hair soft and healthy, so in my book, that makes this a great investment.

This is, by far, the best straightener I have ever used! My hair is straight already but, this gives it a sleek look. It heats up in 25 sec and it only takes me minutes to fix my hair. Highly recommend! It's well worth the money!

I love this flat iron. I have three girls two of them have perms. Every time I wash and straight their hair I looks like that went to the hair dress. They look it and I love it. As for my youngest daughter I use this flat iron to straight her hair it's quick and easy. Now God has blessed me with another Baby GIRL. I love this flat iron so much I bought another one with in two week of my first purchase. You will be very happy with this purchase.

I got this straightner about 5 months ago. It is an awsome straightner. I havent had one problem with the straightner. I have referred it to all of my friends, and they are looking in to buying one themselves. Whenever my friends come over they all want to use my straightner instead of their own. For the last couple months, I've gotten my hair done at a salon called Gene Juarez and have really been happy with the results, however I haven't been able to style it like they have. I've been considering buying a better straightener for a long time and I saw one at the salon that they were selling for $125. However, when I got my hair done there recently, I looked at the straightener they were using and it wasn't the one that they were selling. I saw the company name and it said Global Beauty Inc. so I looked it up and found this straightener for $25 cheaper! Great straightener and even though the results aren't quite the same as at the salon even now, it is much better than my old conair Wet 2 Straight iron. Definitely worth the price!!

Worked great for a year and now that the warranty is up IT DOESN'T work anymore. I took great care of this thing and only used it about twice a week :(
