No! A stylist told me this will damage your hair. I tried it and my hair started smoking and it looked a little fried-do not use on damp hair :o(

If anyone reads this It actually works better if it is damp that somke comming off was steam from heating the water. That is what happens when you dry hair if you dry your hair with a blow drier the same thing happens just not as fast because the Iron is hotter! you just have to use a protectant in your hair first. While it is damp rub it in (I use stuff called Kiwi)then strighten it is easier if it is damp goes faster. I have been using this flat Iron for 2 years and my hair has never been healthier!

Unfortunately, Global Beauty can not be used with an adaptor or converter and therefore can not be used overseas. You can buy Sedu, they have models that designed for UK or European market: http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Flat__360_1.html

No Offence, but hence the name, HAIR STRAIGHTENER you can't curl your hair properly with this. You need to buy a hair curler if you want proper curls. I suggest buying a curler and not attempting to curl with a straigtener, seeing as you will burn all of your hair off, and damage it so that the only way you can fix it is to chop it all off.

these straighteners definatly do curl. It makes a much more fun wave than a typical curling iron.
take the piece you want to curl, hold the curling iron on the hair, close to your scalp, and twist it, letting the hair move through in a circle...

I had the same issue with this product. I went to seek proffesional help. They told me that i had to hold the straightener diagonolly and wrap the hair that is desired to curl around the straightener ONCE and then just take the straightener down slowly. If you still do not understand try finding proffesional help. I hope i was a little bit of help! GOOD LUCK!

Take a small section of hair, about a half inch or so, depending on how thick or thin your hair is, start at the root and move the straightener in circles as you go down like you're straightening your hair. This will create a curl with your straightener. With practice you can become more comfortable doing this.
