Best Flat Iron I Have Ever Used

This flat iron is the best! I have tried every kind of straightening tool out there and this is the best. Being multi-racial (Native American/African/Caucasian), my hair texture is a mixture of course/fine hair. The Kenta effectively straightens my course hair and doesn't damage my fine hair. My hair stylist used this flat iron on my hair and I loved it! I recently have purchased my own Kenta and I can't believe how well it works.
this straightener...amazing...dont go for the cheap

i love this straightener... it gets very hot and it straightens real well...ive had it for like 3 years and it broke which is real unusual, and i bought a different straightener from my salon where i bought the kenta and the new one was called the RUSK and my hairdresser recomended it and it was $100.00 and i used it and you have to use much smaller pieces and it pulls your hair, so i tried to return it and get the kenta and they wouldnt except it so im willing to spend the money and buy this flat iron becasue it is worth it and it straightens really fast and keeps it straight... i recomend it... of all my straighteners this one is my favorite...
Love it!!!!

i think this flat iron is definitely worth the money. I would have rated it 5 stars with the exception it does burn my forhead and ear a lot. It has lived up to the higher standards I ever imagined. I would recommend it to anyone.
Be careful!

While the Kenta certainly straightned my hair, I have burned the right side of my face by my eye three times in 10 months of having it. Further, my hair often catches in the hinge, pulling and breaking.
The texture of my hair and the quality of the straightening are great, though. I do have the Bio Ionic straightening treatment so the effort with which I had to use the Kenta is easy (less than 10 minutes for corse/wavy, medium length hair).
Unfortunately, it died while I was overseas last week so I just ordered the Sedu 1" based on customer reviews.
Prepare to burn your forehead!

I was given this hair straightener as a gift and it works very, very well at straightening. However, because the sides of this flat iron are also exposed and are also very heated, I have yet to use this and not either burn my forehead or an ear. As I said, it does work very well at straigthening, but I would not recommend it.

Had high hopes but disappointed with the quality. It is not worth $130.00. I had better flat irons in the past which does not even cost as much as GIS Kenta..so disappointed.
it really hurt!

This is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the $30 Conair straightener I had been using for years. It gets MUCH hotter and is MUCH faster. This product is great for someone who likes to straighten their hair everyday (like me!) or for someone who would straighten more often if only it didn't take hours. I also find that my hair stays straighter for longer and frizzes up a little less easily. My only complaints about this product: Sometimes my hair gets caught inbetween the hot ceramic plates and the plastic casing and it really hurts to pull it out...Also, I wish the plates were just a little bigger.
good...but dont use everyday

As far as straigtening your hair Kenta is great...However, it does damage it if you use it pretty often. I only use it when I have to
The Kenta is great!

I've used the Sapphire straightener for awhile, and it worked well but I have thick wavy hair, so even though it would make it straight I still had a lot of volume. The kenta makes my hair straight, takes out all of the volume, and stays that way no matter what I do, like working out, etc. I'd strongly recommend!
its great

My hair, usually a mess, was turned into pin straight perfection with Kenta hair straightener and a little bit of Thermasilk gel. I would reccomend this product to ANYONE...even without the gel!!
Love it!

I had the same Kenta Flat Iron about 4 years ago and it short circuited after having it forever and using it almost every day. I loved it then and I love the new one I just purchased. Before I ordered the Kenta flat iron, I purchased the Sedu ceramic iron. I hated it! I put serum on before using the Sedu iron, but it still severely damaged my hair. I only used it 4 times before I realized what it was doing to my hair. I returned it and then got the Kenta flat iron. The Kenta iron gets my straight with no kinks in it and it does not burn and dry out my hair. This is something that no other flat iron has done for my hair.
pretty good

I have had this flat iron for about 3yrs. It has done a pretty good job....it just broke this year which i was not to happy about. It did a pretty good job making it straight but it still looked pretty thick, but it was straight!
expensive, but worth the price

the kenta iron has performed as promised. in fact, we purchased another as a gift this Christmas. during our party, my wife did all the girls hair. from straight to wavey, thin to thick, each girl was impressed.
although the cost is significant compared to others, the iron is worth the price.
