Less pain!

After getting waxed with strips I decided to bring in my own wax. Hard wax is definitely the way to go and this brand is good for sensitive skin--not many red bumps developed afterward--a definite plus.

I was very scared to try this. I have never waxed anything but my eyebrows. I must say it hurt. Maybe because im not used to it yet. I had gotten the numbing spray by gigi. I did not find it did anything. I read quite a few reviews and found someone talking about No scream cream. I looked it up and I plan to order some. I did not venture past the bikini area. However, This product DOES work. It totally removed the hair. I was very happy. I have dark thick hair. So even when id shave my bikini area it still looked like lil black dots and. Basically, you have to have a little patience if youve never done something like this yourself. I hope to be a pro by summer :) Overall great product

I purchase Gigi Brazilian Bikini wax before any big event and it always does a wonderful job in removing any stubborn hairs. This is a wonderful produce and is the only Bikini wax that works for me!
A little pain, but it was worth it!

My second waxing experience (first for bikini area) and GiGi worked wonderfully! Obviously some regions were more sensitive than others, but that's not so surprising. All of the lotions in the kit smell amazing too, so it's definitely as pleasant of an experience as I could ask for. I would definitely recommend this product, although I personally might look for something with strips another time, since it's sometimes hard to find a good area to pull from.

I read all the reviews and bought this product. This was my very first time waxing. For my first time I did the bikini area. My second time I did the brazilian wax-it was painless. I used the numbing spray the first time and didn't bother with it the second time. The directions were simple. I did microwave the wax a little bit longer than suggested and then just tested to make sure it wouldn't burn. I also heated a bowl of hot water and placed the container in it to keep it warm longer (you do have to heat it up a few times). Scooping up the wax and putting it on the area gets a little messy until you get the hang of it. Hint-don't put too much wax on the stick or you'll get it everywhere and end up pulling hair off when you're not ready. It's been 3 weeks and I only have to pluck stray hairs. I'm so glad I found this product and saved money.
No more strips for me!

Up until now, I've been using various brands that use cold wax strips, as I can't find a good Brazilian waxer in my area. Hmm, needless to say, I didn't have much luck with these - rubbish at getting all hair off, painful and useless on very coarse hair. GiGi, on the other hand, is EXCELLENT! I swear I have never had so little pain waxing before when taking a lot of hair off! Even on sensitive areas it was so easy, the hard wax and extra products make such a difference. It helps if you remember to take a good painkiller a while before. Use this one - you won't look back!

Awesome product. A little messy but it works great. Much easier to use than the strips....just make sure that you put some in a clear area to grab on to, and make sure the wax is completely dry before pulling. It does hurt a little, but not nearly as much as I thought it would...I actually think it hurts worse to have your eyebrows waxed!

I worked at a salon and used to get my bikini wax done there. But this product did the exact same thing!!! I love it that I can do it at home. I thought it would really hurt but - nope! At first it was rather sloppy but, I got used to doing it and it's great! I would definatly recommend this product!
Gigi microwave wax is great!

I decided to try Gigi microwave wax for my bikini area after several failed attempts with waxes that require strips. There is no comparison whatsoever. Gigi microwave wax wins by a long shot. It was easy, of course their was some pain as with any wax,it left the area desired hair-free, and best of all it was very inexpensive! I would definately recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice, clean looking waxing without the cost of a salon wax!

It hurt like hell, but it took the hair off. which says a lot because there are a lot of products out that don't. And i have very coarse hair.
i wish this company sold the kind with strips, it give you more control and leverage to remove the hair.
there where a couple of times where i could not find a good place to pull the wax from, had to painfully remove the wax and then try to do the spot again. also it could stand to have more wax in the pot.
OH THE PAIN

This torture kit is not something I would recommend to anyone. I may be sensitive and probably shouldn't have started off with a stripless kit, but the wax itself, even after correct application and pulling it off did not get all of the hair. Actually, more hair was left behind than was removed. All I can say is OUCH and I'll stick to shaving.

I love this product it is the best thing that ever happened to me. I was so tired of shaving and I was looking for anything so I didn't have to anymore. It hurts a little but not as bad as I thought it would. I love it. The pain is worth it not having to shave.

I hsve used alot of products that have torn my skin up making it raw and very painful. I tried Gigi and at first it was painful because I was afraid of once again tearing up my skin. So I pulled nice and slow....OUCH!!! After a while I talked my husband into pulling for me and It was almost painless ( done faster ) even in most tender areas. My husband after the first few tries started to apply the wax in all directions, surounding the hair rather than one way and let me tell you there were no stray hairs and the wax never adhered to my skin. It has been almost 4 weeks and I am still baby smooth....I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

Hi everyone! I did it myself and very happy with the result. This product is really working. No hair whatsoever! When you do it yourself it seems it's more painful than getting it done by a salon skin care therapist, but, in fact, it's not. Pre-opilation oil is excelent and helps to get hair off of your skin better.
I love it and intend to buy more...

I liked ths product it was easy to use, pretty clean, meaning not too much left over wax residue. I would like to purchase the wax seperately, as the other products in the package will last a lot longer. Overall, two thumbs up.

This product was great. I will not do this again on my own, I will go to the pro's for this one, until I get the technique down.. This did not hurt at all but it is much better than shaving though.. It takes about an hour or so. It is worth it. Hint if you are scared to get one done don't try this by yourself.. Get someone to pull it off for you or go to the shop and get it done

Okay, I wanted to do the Brazilian wax, but I had no idea how to proceed. I researched it thoroughly on the net, and this kit seemed like the best. I read all the reviews, and tried the tips posted by others. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I have never done this before, but it turned out perfect. I did use a candle warmer to keep the wax warm, and that worked really well; never had to reheat it. On one strip, I did have little pieces break off bc I applied the wax too thin, but I just slopped some more on there and waited a few minutes. It came off just fine. I am totally thrilled with the way this kit worked. It took me an 1.5 hours and it was messy, but that it due to my lack of technique. The results are SO worth it. My husband will be coming back from a year in Iraq and I know he will love this welcome home present. If you are thinking of doing a Brazilian by yourself, don't be intimidated. This kit works. Just be patient, follow the instructions, and be ready for pain-I do recommend the numbing spray. It is so awesome though when you get finished. I will definitely be using this kit again. Five stars for the Gigi Brazilian wax kit.

i thought this wax was more successful than any i've ever used before (not that i've used many) but it hurt....maybe i didn't use enough of the preepilation oil, and i didn't buy numbing spray....but it hurt....bad....the underarms weren't bad, but when i got to the bikini area i was almost in tears....now i know why people pay someone else to do it...they can't stand the pain if they do it themselves!

I loved this. I did the outside (my thigh area) and actually felt no pain. The further I went in a very painful, but I got through it. I did use the anesthetic spray. I think keeping the wax at an appropriate temperature is key. Also, work in small parts. I used the large sticks on the harder spots... NOT WISE! This took me awhile but I was tweezing between pulls and running 3 floors down to my microwave. Will definately use again. Did a great job! My boyfriend and I love the feel. Hair free is the way to be. So much better than shaving. It feels cleaner.
