I started off and it was working just fine. Perhaps not taking off quite as much hair as i would like, but hey my firs time and it was pretty quick and painless...THEN! for some reason it started drying funny, instead of getting hard for easy pull factor, it turned to goo which hurts like a B*tch to pull off cuz it gets all tangled in the hair, and i just ended up cutting some of it off. Tried it a few times, what went wrong?? I was so happy with the first few strips...Is it cuz i used too much oil? or perhaps reheating it made it go funny? If you're thinking you are going to continue waxing, go to your local Sally Beauty Supply, if you have one. Most of them have a complete line of Gigi. I bought the warmer, and it works much better than trying to keep heating and reheating the wax, which I think can make people's experiences inconsistent. It's an investment, but IT IS SO worth it. Follow the instructions on the wax (jar replacement kind)... it tells you to set the warmer on high for a certain amount of minutes, and then down to a lower temp. It works PERFECT every time. Some people take longer to wax than others, it's natural that some people would have to stop and reheat... when I started using this 3 years ago, I experienced the same problem. After I bought the warmer, it's a piece of cake. | New and old products
Several reviews said that the old product was better than the new product... I'm not sure but is the brown colored GiGi Brazilian set different from the GiGi strip free honee wax set? I know they have different before and after products but has anyone tried them both and found the waxes different? Question posted by julia Mon Apr 30 2007 Submit your answer wax uses

I got 3 waxes out of one container of wax. | Hair length
I just got my kit today and was wondering does it matter what length your hair is? Or should you trim it to a specific length that will work best? Question posted by R.G Fri Mar 23 2007 Submit your answer For Men

My wife likes me shaved as well.
I have used GiGi before and it works just as well as any other I guess. I'm personally going to have laser hair removal done next week. Good Luck! | Waxing against the "grain"

You can use it on your underarms. But do not use it on your eyebrows. Go to a professional for eyebrows. | so you don't use a strip?
i'm so confused i've read the directions about 5 times and i know that no strips are included.....so you don't use any strips or cloth at all? how does that work? i mean the wax hardens a little and you pull of the wax with your hands? (VERY confused) Question posted by Sofie Wed Mar 01 2006 Submit your answer | Reply by -*RbD

Yeah, since this is hard wax you do not need a strip to use it. Warm the wax up, place it on with the applicator (tongue depressor), wait until the wax is less sticky, use some of the oil included in the wax kit peel back some of the hard wax, and pull the rest of it off. The hard wax will not break in that process or be to weak.
I hope I explained it so you could understand it. If not just search online for "how to use a hard wax". Good luck! :) | how often
