GOLD'N HOT professional hair irons come with 10 heat settings for styling fine, fragile hair to thick, highly resistant hair. Product Features:
Directions: For a complete styling, hair should be clean, dry, and free from dirt, hair spray, creams, etc. (Your iron can always be used for quick touch-ups and rescues any time.) Pre-heat: Rest the iron on a smooth, flat surface, plug in. Turn on, set the temperature control at the desired position, and allow iron to heat. This unique iron has been designed with multiple temperatures, providing very high heat in the MAX setting for straightening very coarse, thick hair and very low heat in the MIN setting for straightening extra fine, damaged or dry hair. It also provides a full range of heat settings between MIN and MAX, for all normal textures and thickness of hair. To straighten hair: Work with hair sections that are approximately 2½" wide and 3/4" deep. Place hair between the hot plates and press down firmly. Hold in place for a few seconds and pull through hair, maintaining some tension. For a finishing touch, turn straightening iron under just a half turn when near end of hair. Then, simply release pressure from handle and allow hair to slip out. Repeat the process until you have achieved the desired hairstyle. Warnings & Precautions: Keep away from water. Read all instructions before using. Product Reviews and Rating: GOLD'N HOT Mini Professional Hair Straightening Iron is rated

I used to be frineds with this girl who had one and after using hers I decided to get one myself because it really straightened my hair nicely the first couple of times I used it. I'm African-American. At the time my hair wasn't relaxed so it was coarse. After using my friend's and buying one myself, I was impressed that it was able to straighten my hair better than a relaxer. This only lasted maybe a month. Why? 1)it damages your hair. Seriously, the ends come out really really dry and hard. Your hair gets burned! Its as bad as going to the Domincan hair salons because it causes the same heat damage. 2) you can't put anything on your hair before using it because it only burns your hair even more! And on top of that you can actually hear your hair frying. It gets really hot! Extremely hot! To the point where I've burned myself several times touching my own hair! 3) it leaves a weird smell in your hair. 4) the iron itself gets dirty. Honestly, it's nice to find a product that is meant for black hair, because there aren't many out there that works on this hair type but this product needs some serious improvements. Brooke Lynn-Marie Mitchell As an African American women it is always hard to find a flat iron that works. However after purchasing this flat iron, my hair turn out bone straight. My hair also had plenty of shine. i think that the gold n hot products are made ecspecially for african american women thats my opnion, all these products work well on my natural hair so i feel that if u have like bi-racial hair are if your not african american of course this product may not work as well on your hair i have two other friends that have purchashed the gold n hot flat irons and it works well on their hair also, just remember this is my opnion from experience and also seeing the results on my self and my friends.. alright well i needed a new straightner and i bought this piece of junk thinking it would actually work and it doesnt at all this sucks baddly whoever made this i really hope you are happy taking peoples money making this crapp i am 12 and i now know never bye a straghtiner without looking it up online to see the reviews I have been using this product for 10 years and it has always straightened my hair beautifully. I have long frizzy hair (almost touches my butt). The qulaity of the straightening depends on the products you use with the straightener. I use a smoothing shampoo following by a humectant conditioner. I let my hair towel dry for about 40 minutes and let the iron preheat for about 20 minutes on the highest setting. I section my hair in pieces using clips. I apply Razac cream to each section and brush it. I then press the iron several times, brushing the sections in between pressing. When I am finished, I pass the blow dryer through the roots...I don't like to place the iron too close to my scalp. To finish the the look I spray Motions Oil Moisturer for a shiny, soft, silky look. I apply the Oil Moisturizer Daily until the week is up and start all over again. Read all 16 customer reviews ...
