Directions: For a complete styling, hair should be clean, dry, and free from dirt, hair
spray, creams, etc. (Your iron can always be used for quick touch-ups and
rescues any time.) Pre-heat: Rest the iron on a smooth, flat surface, plug in. Turn on, set the
temperature control at the desired position, and allow iron to heat. This unique iron has been designed with multiple temperatures, providing very
high heat in the MAX setting for straightening very coarse, thick hair and very
low heat in the MIN setting for straightening extra fine, damaged or dry hair.
It also provides a full range of heat settings between MIN and MAX, for all
normal textures and thickness of hair. To straighten hair: Work with hair sections that are approximately 2½"
wide and 3/4" deep. Place hair between the hot plates and press down
firmly. Hold in place for a few seconds and pull through hair, maintaining some
tension. For a finishing touch, turn straightening iron under just a half turn
when near end of hair. Then, simply release pressure from handle and allow hair
to slip out. Repeat the process until you have achieved the desired hairstyle. Warnings & Precautions: Keep away from water. Read all instructions before using. Product Reviews and Rating:

Lemme tell you, I bought this lousy piece of nothing for only $30, and it made my frizzy, very, very, VERY curly hair look like a witch's wig that u would wear on halloween. i am 12 and i am telling u DO NOT PURCHASE THIS STRAIGHTENER. It is a waste of time and money. The ceramic plates are horrible, and it takes me at least 2 hours to straighten it. Not to mention curly hair does get frizzy, and this suckish thing just made my hair frizzier and unnatural. Once again, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS STRAIGHTENER. It is a waste of time, money, and EVERYTHING. It SUCKS.

my aunt had bought the straightener for me. when i got it i was soo excited. the first time i used it i loved it. but as the more times i used it, the less satisfaction i got from it. the heat settings are really bad, and you would have to straighten the section over and over again to get standard results. the gold-n-hot straightener is not the type of straightener that you would use if you have very coarse or curly hair. after a while the straightener started not to work and it gave of a horrible stench that stunk up my room. and the cord was always curlin up making it difficult to straighten your hair. save your time and your mone, DONt EVER BUy A GOlD-N-HOt StRAiGHtENER. EVER!
Don't last long Enough.

When I first used the GoldNHot I used it at my friend's house, and I was amazed with the results it was flat and amazing. But when i purchased mine, the gold plates blackened with time, and as it heats up it smokes and the smoke smells to me like copper or fish. My hair smells like burn and metal and people tell me often that it smells like i haven't showered in monthes. Don't get this flat iron it's not worth it. It's terrible.

I did not like my gold n' hot straigtner, I did not get hot enough and the plates didnt even touch all the way when you pressed them together. I recommend ceramic tools 1inch, it gets really hot, and its light weight and skinny so you can get close to your roots- i think it does a great job!
