I really thought ghd thermal protection was actually going to work but of course like all other crappy hair products it really didn't do anything. But it did smell pretty good and it did help with the frizz on the top part of my head. So people with extremely curly hair that poofs up and needs protection from straighteners and other stuff dont buy it, it's not worth the $dollars$ so just buy like VO5 thermal protection conditioning mist or tresemme thermal protection/heat activiation spray or watever they're called so ya. PEACE OUT A TOWN!
This stuff is awful!

I wanted heat protection for my chemically relaxed, thin, breaking, dry hair. I bought the Ghd for weak hair. It was horrible! Not only does it feel like hairspray and smell terrible, it made my hair really dry - it felt like straw! On top of that, it took forever to blow dry it after applying, and I have really thin hair. I spent almost a half an hour blowing out my hair, which usually takes 5 minutes. It was ridiculous. Never buying this stuff again!
Don't use this stuff

I tried this product out in Sephora and you can even smell the alcohol in it! Alcohol is bad for your hair and dries it out... So needless to say you are doing major damage to your hair! Even more so if you are pairing the use of this product with a flat iron! OUCH! Try Federick Fekkai's products!! Much better and worth the money.
Too pricey

I purchased two - (dry/coarse) plus the (weak/damaged) sprays and both acted as hairsprays rather than straighteners. It didn't leave a very nice shine as opposed to other products I have. It didn't feel like your hair was being protected as it states either. I wouldn't recommend this unless you like spending money hand over fist.
Very sticky hair

I found this product to be very poor, it left my hair feeling like straw. When I sprayed it on I found I either sprayed too much or not enough. I found the shape of the bottle difficult to hold (triangular), in effect it's a gimmick.
In conclusion stick to mainstream hair products for protecting your hair.
Very Average

This product is by far the most overated product on the market. When i first got my mini GHD, the sales lady insisted i needed this and i thought 'hey shes probably right' and got the stuff... it actualy makes my hair feel worse that it does without the product. It leaves your hair feeling all dry and knotty. You would think GHD would have made a better product given their hair straighteners are so good.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GHD PRODUCT.

This product works like a hairspray. When I purchased the product I thought it would be more like a silky gel product, but its not.
Very good, (but too) PRICEY product!

This is avery good fixative product to use while styling, though it tends to resemble more towards a "hairspray" result, than a smoothing, straightening one. It does not leave the hair very soft, but piecy and stiff where applied. I guess that is what it is supposed to do. Great for a textured, spikey or piece-y look. Reminds me of a hairspray with silicone in it. A little does not go a long way, so I feel it is very pricey for the rather common result that could be found in a less spendy product.
