I love it soo much, it is such a great flat iron and it is super cute, i really have to say buy it , if u are looking or a great flat iron this is the one. it is pricey but so worth it, and it's purple, come on that just sells it all on its own it 100% worth it , cant live without it and i comes with a caring case great for travel and storage!!
love it to death, and trust me i know the skeptical of fake ghd 's out there but folica is legit this is real ghd and has a full 2 year warranty!!

I purchased this ghd straightener after using a friend's in the UK. It truly fits its tagline of "a new religion for hair". I've never owned another high-end flat iron before, although I've tried those that others owned. I do think the ghd is a cut above similarly priced products, such as the chi line. It does a great job of both making my hair straighter and sleeker than I've ever had, as well as quite easily adding a bit of body or curls. The accompanying DVD was useful in that it shows you the best way to use it to get optimal results. I recommend using it with a flat iron protective spray. Not only will it hold the straight or curly hair for longer (while still leaving your hair soft) but it protects against any damage that invariably comes from using such heat intensity on your hair. Just so a buyer knows, it does only have one setting for the heat. I think it is perfect - more is bad for your hair, less wouldn't do the job - but some people might not like that. This one in particular comes with a gorgeous carrying case that I've already taken on trips twice, and it worked beautifully. The flat iron itself is gorgeous - the purple color and the quality of the product really stand out. You may be able to find ghd products on sale for less money on other websites, but most of those which are official retailers sell the official products (like folica) don't put them on too huge of a deal, so beware about what you are buying to make sure the product is authentic and covered by ghd.
Love this straightener, 10 min. (no blow-drying) and I'm done!

I've had a Chi (multiple Chis) for the past 5 years before finally switching to GHD. I was worried about buying a fake, but I was able to register my GHD on the website so no worries there (the box/packaging is so pretty, no one could make money trying to fake this set). I can now do my hair in roughly 10 minutes, it used to take at least 30 (because I had to blow-dry my hair semi-straight before using the Chi). The GHD heats up in seconds, hasn't snagged my hair once, and the rounded barrel prevents those odd right-angle ends. I love it!!!
expensive, but worth the price!

So I used my friends GHD and was surprised to find how shiny and soft my hair was after using it! it heats up in like 20 seconds and is hot! its really good for coarser hair because the heat is soo intense and even. you cannot change the temperature setting, so if you have fine hair, be cautious! with its curved edges, it flips and curls like a charm. also, the plates are smooth so it never snags your hair, which the chi was soo bad for! if its a bit too pricey for you, i suggest waiting for folica to have a sale and then buying it! its worth it!

This GHD straightener has changed my life. No longer blow drying. Heats up and cools down fast. Makes my hair smooth and shiny. I'm not very adept at styling my hair so it has transformed me to a super, slick lady!!! Thanks to my hair stylist who talked me into purchasing such an expensive hair equipment...but so worth every penny!!!
