Fab - just like UK ones!!

I have been using GHD in England for several years (since 2002) and have recently moved to the US...my dad found these online for me as my UK ones don't work over here (different voltage apparently)
These are just as good as my UK ones, and having bought a couple of other types of straighteners over in the US (during my visits here!) these are by far the best, I wish I'd been able to find these earlier!...they make my hair so smooth and straight, and super quickly as well...go GHD!!!

I am in the U.K. but travel extensively in the U.S. with a second home in Florida.
I have been trying to find a supplier for GHD's in the U.S. for ages, and finally found folica.com......you are a lifesaver! I'm so delighted as my UK ghd's didn't work as well with the lower voltage in the US.
I can live without a hairdryer, but I cannot survive without my GHD's. It's just not worth buying cheaper irons.

These are by far the best hair straighteners you can buy. The price at first might seem high but I had my last pair for over 5 years...I am English and moved over to the US 2 years ago and was so excited when you could get GHD here.
i think ghd's are the best straightners ever!!!!!

I finally bit the bullet after having one too many bad hair days!!! The GHD flat iron is AMAZING...I have very wooly hair and it has been incredibly straight, shiny and frizz free since using the iron. I only wish I would have purchased this a year ago when my hair stylist first used it on my hair!!! The price is well worth the outcome.

I have naturally curly hair and was dying to get a wedge cut... but knew it would look awful with curly hair. I went and did it anyway and it look great when I left the salon... until I tried to use my straightener at home. I could not get it to look like she had at the salon. I went back, checked out her straightener and bought the ghd on the spot... I am in love. My hair used to take hours to straighten, but I do not even have to fuss over drying. Just dry it anyway and the ghd does all of the work. I will never go curly again!!!!!!

I use to have a Diva flat iron, which I payed 150.00 for. It died on me 6 months later! I then purchased GHD, according to the reviews I had read. So far, its a dream come true. I style my hair quickly now. GHD leaves my hair smooth and healthy looking, not over ironed and limp. I would reccommend it to anybody looking for a new straight iron. Worth the cost.

I had been trying out new irons because I wasn't happy with my T3 anymore. I tried out HAI, CHI and forget it...this blows them all out of the water. The results come out fantastic...hair is straight w/o being FLAT the way that Chi/HAI tends to result in. Hair is also left shiny -- my highlights sparkle w/ the use of the GHD. DEFINITELY TRUST US AND BUY THIS! Apparently this lasts longer (years longer) than CHI/HAI as well. I'm hoping that is true!

Are you kidding comparison pricing? You NEVER need to buy another iron. This is it. Buy the ghd iron. Their product line is even better than the iron . . .

We are currently stationed overseas, and I had a hair appointment at a local beauty shop. I have very thick and curly hair so when she blow dried it, I had a pretty good 'fro!!! I was amazed when I saw her plug in the flat iron, grab a hair comb and immediately start straightening my hair!! She went thru each section twice. I had never gotten my hair that straight in such little time and effort. My hair was so soft and not to mention very shiny and healthy looking!!! I was soooooo impressed with how fast the iron was ready and it took her approximately 10 maybe 15 minutes to straighten my hair!!!!!! I asked her what she was using and she showed me the iron and said I would be able to purchase one from the salon. I was sure the iron would of been 220 volts instead of 110, so as soon as I got home I went online and purchased thru Folica.com. So thank you Folica, for sending my straightener in such a short time--it took 6 days for me to recieve it!! This may well have been the very best item I have purchased for myself!!!!!!!!! Thanks again!

OMG !! i moved to Canada a year and a half ago from Scotland and almost cried when my ghd didnt work good out here with the voltage being so low, so i ended up getting some Jade plate ones that cost $260 (and the rest) and they didnt help one bit. I contacted GHD twice to see when they would supply to Canada and they told me they wouldnt and that i should contact some salons in LA and get them from there. THEN i found folica and GHD. My hubby bought me some and it was the best surprise ever. I used to have the thicker plated ones but cant get them here, having to go back to thin plates i really dont mind, as long as its GHD im happy. I cant believe i had to live for so long without these and right now i am the happiest person in the world. Although this morning i did burn myself a few times - its gonna take a while to get used to them again !!! :-)

I was first introduced to this product, by my hairdresser, when I was home in London (UK) on a visit. He highly recommended the product and suggested I try to get one in the USA. This was 4 years ago! Even contacting GHD direct yielded very little results. Finally I found your website and was able to purchase one with USA voltage.
This product is superb for straightening all types of hair without damage. It straightens without having to create tension on the hairshaft, seals in the natural oils, and gives a wonderful shine. It heats up within 60 seconds and maintains the heat without having to wait . I can understand why it is highly recommended by professionals. Admittedly it is on the pricey side but well worth the investment for the results obtained.
GHD does itself a dis-service by not making the product more widely available in the USA.
I would highly recommend this product. Also 5 stars to Folica.com for having stocked this item.

I have been looking for a ghd since i moved out here... been told about the chi or t3 but i didnt give up searching til i found it on folica.... I miss my GHD in australia... but the US version is ust as great! does take a while to heat up compared to the aussie version.... but i cant live without wit!
I highly reccomend this iron!

I first tried GHD in Queenstown Gym NZ, it's part of ladies locker ammenities, I only had 5minutes to get in & out of the locker room since my husband was waiting outside but anyway i tried this straightener, turned it on less than 30 seconds later it was ready for use and wowwwww amazing product, I can't wait to go back home USA to buy this product cuz of voltage difference and here I am sharing to all my friends the product I discovered in New Zealand my new love GHD. Buy It! it's the best.

I have naturally tight ringlety curls and was frustrated with the results i got with other straighteners. They either wouldnt straighten in totally, or the moment i stepped outside FRIZZ. A hairdresser at a salon used the GHD straighterns on my hair and I couldnt believe how straigh my hair was. even after a whole night out not a strand was out of place. I finally own some and consider it money very well spent. :)

Well I am inpressed with this one!! I used to live in the UK and owned a GHD Flat iron and it was hard to give it up when I immigrated to Canada. But to my surprise I found Folica.com!! And even better I found GHD's for the voltage over here!! I have noticed that it takes longer for the straightemer to reach optimum temperature but the results are the same!! Really a great product that came out of a little place called Ilkey, Leeds, England!!

I wanted a flat iron for years, and my hair stylist suggested a GHD iron. Let me tell you, this girl has gone from frizzy, poofy, thick, coarse and curly hair to glossy, silky, sleek and straight hair. It would probably be best to use a little bit of product and make sure your hair is completely dry, but a little goes a long way. You go over a piece of hair once and VOILA! You can straighten your hair, curl it, make it wavy, etc. The number one iron that lasts forever and is one of the most popular in the world. Buy it, it's worth every penny!
