As I was told by a ghd rep, all of their ghds are equipped with a reset box. |
GHD or CHI or Solia
I see alot of reviews saying that the CHI breaks in less than a year or it fry's your hair badly. I have not seen any bad reviews about solia. Also GHD what do you think about those I have not seen any bad reviews either.

MK4 or MK3?
Is MK4 a lot better than MK3?The only difference I see is that MK4 can work anywhere in the world. But how does it work exactly? Does it work in countries like China where they use 220V? What's the main difference between the MK3 and MK4 model?

Yes, adjustment to International voltage means it works in China or any other country where the voltage is 220 unlike the US. You won't have to do anything but plug it in. I travel a lot. It used to be I had to use transformers, now most quality products have universal voltage features. |

I believe the original poster's question was, can the user adjust the temperature to a level that is appropriate for her hair texture/type. When the manufacturer mentions temperature adjustment, they mean maintaining maximum temperature.
It doesn't appear to be user adjustable. That is the only thing holding me back from buying it. | | Reply by Sara

I am in Canada. Does this plug fit right into the electrical socket or do I need a special adaptor. I know it is designed to work with our voltage but that doesnt say anything about plug type.
