LOVE this product! The only negative is that it 'eats' batteries!

I have this and use it once in a while. It doesn't so much *curl* the lashes so much as *bend* or fold them, so they looks kind of L-shaped. I know it's advised to use a curler before applying mascars, but I have to apply mascara before using it because it's difficult to apply when the lashes are bent. Still, it's better than the stick straight lashes I have naturally.
Didn't work at all!

I've only posted one other review online, and the other was a positive...saw this product and had to post!!
Bought this product because had heard that heated eyelash curlers work better than non...also really like the eyelash curlers that use the sliding thumb switch mechanism as opposed to the two fingered scissor crimp.
This product hardly heated up, probably for safety. The pressure for curling was poor, my lashes didn't even curl. And the product felt like it was going to come apart when pressing together.
Usually my lashes curl extremely easily and this product did nothing...returned item immediately. Don't wast your time or money on this one.

I gave it a try. I have trouble using it. I can't tell if the eyelashes are even in the device. I prefer the old fashioned kind of eye lash curler.
Not great

I had hoped that this curler would be a better option to the old metal versions that have been around forever. I can't say that I am terribly impressed. The battery supplied seemed to be weak and took forever to heat up. I replaced those and it heats a little quicker but not enough to make a difference. I don't think that I would purchase this product again.
Not as expected, hard to see lashes

I was tring to replace an old Hot Touch curler and thought I would be getting the white version shown on the website, but got this black one instead. The plastic was unpleasant to the touch - sort of rubbery instead of the smooth plastic I was expecting. And because it's black, it's impossible to see your lashes against it, so you can't tell whether you've positioned the curler properly.
Awesome

I have used the same Hot Touch eyelash curler for 5 years. My dog who is having seperation anxiety got a hold of it and chewed it to pieces. I purchased a regular eyelash curler until I could figure out how to get a hold of another Hot Touch. WOW what a barbaric experience. My hands were sore from trying to squeeze those handles together. Its unbelievable how convenient the Hot Touch is. Simple and very effective. I will never go back to conventional means.

This is a very good eyelash curler, easy to manipulate and the heat makes it really curl. It's the only curler I use.
Works but doesn't last long

I bought my curler in February and given that it does get a workout, I will give it some credit. But it has fallen apart on me and now barely works at all. I also do not like the black color--I cannot see my lashes. I have the other kind of curler that does not crimp my lashes but I find that doesn't work well at all either.
Some work great, others are losers

I have used Hot Touch Eyelash Curler for 4 years. I used the metal ones for years before. And I was delighted with Hot Touch when I discovered it. My huge frustration is that of the last 4 I purchased, none of them worked. As some of your customers have said, they do nothing, or maybe they crimp and fry your lashes. Whereas the previous 3, worked great. I am desperate to buy a new one (they do wear out) but after 4 duds, that I couldn't return, I'm not sure I want to give it another chance. I suspect the huge discrepancy in these reports has to do with the product somehow not being the same.

I hate this product! With the black color you can't see your lashes. Why show the white one on the website and then send the black ones??? I also hate the matte finish. It is difficult to clean. Another problem my daughter has complained about is that the back comes loose during use. For $14 each this product is pathetic!!! I definitely wouldn't buy these again. Is the clear mascara a consolation prize???
I prefer White

I have used the hot touch eyelash curler for years. It gives you great lashes usng the heat. this is a product that
does what it says. I love it and wouldn't feel my makeup was complete until I used my hot eyelash curler. Thanks for a
great product.
greater curler with limitations

While this definitely curls lashes, it still can produce a crimped look. One feature that would improve it would be an on and off button. I don't want to have to keep pushing the on slide up to keep the curler hot since I recurl after the first coat of lashes. I've tried other other hot curler that does not clamp on lashes but it takes forever to get them curled that way so this is the better option for now.
its better than nothing

Mom bought me this 2yrs ago from QVC and it does work better than the awful pinching metal eyelash curler. In that 2 years I have spent the same amount for the product as I did replacing the batteries. 2 complaints, one is that the battery cover doesnt stay on, I have to fumble with that so it heats up properly. secondly, there is an design flaw because like a review I had read it doesnt curl the ends of my lashes curl funky, but with the magic of Chanel mascara I can make it happen.
Good start but needs improvement

I've owned several eyelash curlers for the past couple of years. When it works, it works great! But it seems to short out very quickly for once a day use. I have to manipulate it quite a bit for it to heat up. Once heated, easy to use and works great.
Needs improvement mechanically/electrially.

I have been using this eyelash curler for at least 4 years. Needed a new one so I searched all the web to find the same one, but only now it is a different color. I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't find it in folica.com. Thank You
