This came as a bonus for the straightener i ordered off this same site. i really really really like it because it helps me take better care of my straightener which was pretty expensive. I can place the hot straightener on the mat and leave it to cool or directly slide it into the pouch and put it in my luggage bag---all with no problem at all! love it!

This is the perfect companion to the T3 Wet to Dry straightener. I can straighten my hair in the morning, unplug the iron, slide it into this nifty pouch and drop it into my bag and I'm out the door. I love that I don't need to stand around waiting for my flat iron to cool. This is the best.

Love the carrier pouch for flat iron. Easy storage for heat tool. Heat proof. Absolutely wanted on of these for my flat iron & I received this one free with my online purchase of another flat iron. Can't beat that deal, I was absolutely delighted.

Works much better than the CHI we had - mainly because of the larger surface area for my daughter's thick hair - cut flat iron time from 30 to 5-10 minutes.

I'm not good and hair and make-up but with his flat iron, I can do my entire head of hair (below shoulder length) in about 5 minutes flat and it looks professionally done! I live in Hawaii where it's very humid and yet, my hair stays straight until I wash it. I love this flat iron!

It has saved me a number of times when i have left my straightener on by accident ..Thank goodness i didn't burn the house down.
It doesn't look like much but it's awsome. i throw my blowdryer and striaighener into a wicker basket next to me in the bathroom and always leave them plugged on..it's higher then my eyesight so i've ran out thinking it was off..thank goodness I have this mat under it at all times. (I dont stick mine in the pounch i just lay it on top at home)

I love this pouch because when I'm using my chi to straighten my hair I'm usually sitting on the carpet so I just set the hot iron on the pouch. When I'm done, I stick the iron in the pouch and put it in the drawer. No mess...just put it away while it's hot. This will also be great on trips.

The Folica heat-proof mat/pouch is the perfect solution for protecting the countertop while heating up the flat iron and storing the flat iron when not in use. Thank goodness I was using the Folica heat-proof mat when my flat iron overheated, or I would have damaged my countertop. The Folica heat-proof mat/pouch is a necessity and I would recommend it to anyone using a flat iron at home or while traveling.

I needed something like this so badly and it came free with my flat iron, but if it hadn't, I would've spent the money on it. I can just do my hair, stash it in the pouch, and take it on the go with me, it's a total lifesaver!!

This pouch is really handy since I always traveling for business. It is the only pouch that I have found that does not melt when a hot iron is placed in it.

I take my flat iron wherever I go, and with this I don't have to wait for it to cool down, or worry that it will ruin anything in my suitcase. Also great for making sure the countertop isn't damaged when I set my (very, VERY hot) flat iron on it.

IT WAS A GREAT IDEA COMING UP WITH THE HEAT PROOF POUCH. I'VE HAD MANY INSTANCES WITH TRAVELING OR JUST HAVING TO PACK FOR WHATEVER REASON AND MY STRAIGHTNER WOULD BE HOT FROM JUST USING IT AND I'D HAVE TO WAIT TO PACK IT SO IT WOULDN'T BURN THE BAG. I REALLY LIKE HAVING IT FOR THOSE INSTANCES IF NOTHING ELSE.

I really liked the heat proof mat/pouch that came with my curling iron. I checked locally to purchase the curling iron and found it at a better priced on Folica.com - even with shipping. The heat proof mat/pouch was a very nice bonus.

It's well worth it, plenty of storage room for your iron and padded enough to protect it, the material makes it feel like it would last forever.
