Fake Bake is an excellent self tanner and fulfills everything it promises. The result is very good but I would prefer if the initial application was not as "muddy" but more of a gel. I find the cream dark but not as transparent as I would like.
However, their lip gloss is phenomonal and I will never be without it.
Overall, I'm very happy. : )

What can I say. It doens't stink at all. The exfoliator is so nice, its smells like an orange 50/50 bar. The downer is that when you use it, make sure you have nothing going on that day. You will get messy & it does take some time to dry. Plus, you need a buddy to help you get to those hard to reach places. As for results, I put it on only for a couple of hours and had a nice tan that lasted a few days. Loved my color & I wasn't orange. My skin is light to medium, so I enjoyed the nice, warm glow. I have used other products,they just don't compare.

I've been buying Fake Bake for 4 years now and love the product. I'm one of those fair skinned Strawberry Blonds that just get pink in the sun and I love Fake Bake because it give me a golden brown color without looking fake. No orange color. The secret to applying is a bit at a time and work it in to the skin. I also love the products that go along with it. They pamper the skin and the price of all three is the same as the Fake bake alown. What a deal. Thank you for that!

This is the best self-tanner I have ever used! You get nearly instant results, and it looks very natural. I was at a wedding over the weekend and was asked several times where I went to get such a great tan. This product will be my best friend over the approaching (long) winter in Alaska! If you follow the directions precisely and have some sheets you don't mind getting messed up, then you'll have no problem, and a deep, even tan. The product washes out well. The only drawback (and it's a minor one) was that if you have large pores, some of the color guide remains. Be sure to exfoliate well, or use a pore-cleansing product, and you'll be fine. Folica's service was terrific. I usually receive my orders days earlier than estimated, and that's amazing being way up North. Thanks, Folica!

I bought this after reading numerous review online and I'm so glad I tried it. Application is easy, can be a little messy but even if the color guide looks uneven, your tan won't be. It absolutely does not make your skin smell weird like most self tanners do. It does take a while to dry and the color guide will get on your sheets but it washes out 100%. I get comments all the time on my "tan" and I love telling people that it actually came from a bottle.

I am a blonde, blue, with paper white skin. Every self tanner has never done anything but turn me pumpkin orange. BUT NOT FAKE BAKE!!! Follow the directions on the fake bake website and apply with gloves so your hands are not brown. I applied a few days in a row to get a deep tan that would have taken me all summer to get laying out in the sun. Wonderful product! Will be using year round.

I am a fair redhead and everything that I have ever used made me look orange, but not Fake Bake! This is the most natural tan I have ever had. I have had more compliments since I have been using this product, and the mist helps in adding moisturizer to my skin. Give it a try and see what you think. You will love it!

I avoid the sun like crazy (cancer and wrinkles are my motivation) but here in the south EVERYBODY tans! So I don't want to be the pale vampire looking girl when summertime rolls around. The fact that I am allergic to sunscreen doesn't help either.
The things i have found about most self tanners is that they give an orangey ting and they stink but that was not the case with fake bake.
The exfoliator is great, the dry oil is just that, it absorbs quickly and smells wonderful!! The fake bake itself looks like chocolate pudding but has a color guide which is helpful. It lets you know where you have and haven't applied so you'll end up with a solid streak free tan. Also this kit comes with gloves to apply the lotion with DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT GLOVES!!!

I live in Australia where the sun is harsh most days so I have always used tanning lotions to save my skin from cancer, products in Australia that are available are white cream based lotions let's face it you can't see where you have put it and you have to wait 3 hours to see that you are now a streaked mess. Fake Bake is perfect you see where you have put it on because it is brown to start with, the tri pack is even better because you have everything you need to start the perfect tan I rate Fake Bake 100%

This product give the best color...its brown and not orange at all!!!!! It comes w/ all you need to apply! Dries quickly, like all lotions it does come off on clothing and bedding.....

I have used every tanning product available and this one is the best one to date. The color is perfect and it does not have the same strong distinct smell as others. It is a lot more mild. If I want to make sure an area really blends I put a bit of the tanning lotion and the after lotion together to mix it. This makes it go on more smooth with no streaks.
