I use it for acne scars. Seems to work for me. Also just makes the skin on your face more even toned which makes it look brighter. Works like a moisturiser too plus has sun screen which is always a must in my opinion!

Will it lighten the whole area or only dark patches?

I think they have a fade out cream specifically for under eye circles. Using it at the mo - haven't used it long enough to see a difference yet
How concerned should I be about the Hyfroquinone ingredient
I have no idea why, but as I've aged the skin above my lip has browned so that I look like I have a mustache. I had similar problems in my youth - I think when I was pregnant. It didn't last. However, now, it looks like I have an Errol Flynn mustache. On top of that, I have quite a large patch of brown skin on my neck and spots on my hands. Having said all that, the product sounds wonderful - but then, I'd rather have all these problems than cancer. What is the real risk here? Question posted by Janet Tue Oct 03 2006

Fade out is no longer made with Hydroquinone, the replacement active ingredient is Zyalight, which is safe. See:

Acne from using the product?
