A Follow Up

I decided to write a little follow-up review to my original one over two years ago. I have been using my Facial Flex twice daily over this period and it has made such a difference in my appearance. My face is toned, has good definition and looks younger than my 32 years. I can't recommend this product enough. However, there are a couple of things I want to mention for anyone using the Facial Flex.
This first point is especially for those who have found that they have developed creases from using the device. You must, and I stress the must part, hold your mouth at the sides whilst doing the compressions. Place your fingers at the sides of your mouth and pull the skin out, aiming roughly toward your ears. This will prevent creases/grooves from forming or your nasal folds becoming more pronounced.
The second point concerns regular use. You can't stop and start with this device and still expect to see results. You must use it every day (twice daily is ideal) and do the compressions until you really feel it. If you need to, increase the time you spend exercising with the unit and go up a band size. At the moment, I'm working with two 14oz bands on the product and do two sets of three minutes each (a total of six minutes) twice daily. It is important not to rush up the band sizes, though: I've worked my way up to this level.
My final point is actually a small gripe about the bands themselves. I have ordered many sets of bands over the 2+ years I've been using the Facial Flex and I have noticed that in every packet I've received, the band thicknesses are not uniform. There needs to be some sort of improved quality control when manufacturing and sorting these bands to ensure that they are all the same size and thickness.
To conclude, I've got to reiterate how overjoyed I am with the Facial Flex. Used diligently and with care, it will work wonders with your face, specifically your jawline and cheeks.

I've only been using this a week, and the change is simply unbelievable! I have a tendency to respond very quickly to exercise and am muscular for a woman, so I guess it didn't surprise me that my face responded so quickly, as well. I'm using it 3 minutes twice a day and doing as many repetitions as I can handle (I slow down fairly soon but just keep on.)
I think it can cause wrinkles if you don't hold your mouth properly, from what I've read. Keep your lips curled over your teeth and hold your nasio-labial folds back as you do the exercise. If you see wrinkles in your face when you're using it, you're not using it properly. I will definitely keep using this and am very happy with it. Moreso than I've been with any other cosmetic product I've tried, especially for the speed at which I saw results. My face already feels more toned, and I can see obvious results when I look at myself in the mirror.

This product produces excellent results. I have been trying to strengthen my face after partial paralysis occurred last year. This product is the first thing to make a substantial difference. The instructions are simple and excellent. It is well designed and easy to use.

I'd used this product only for a week or so...Now i have stopped using it,because it has developed deep lines around my nose area.(both sides).i am sure i was using the product correctly.this was an awfull experience.

Ive been using this product for almost six months twice a day 7 days a week 2 reps of 200 morning and night to try to tighten up my cheeks(laugh lines) really feel it but really no improvements or anyone saying they see a change..im working with the 14oz bans now and going to try 3 reps of 300 twice a day for six more months that be a year with this product and i give ya more then thx

Hi, I started using this machine last week, and after just a few day I am already convinced that the machine is working. My jawline appears tighter and my skin is feeling firmer than it has of late, this could be due to the cream but I think it is the device.It is logical that if I add resistance to the muscles in my face they will respond in a similar way to the muscles in my body, the device is easy to use and I am doing 2x 200 reps twice a day with the 8 oz bands.It is easy, descrete and fun to use, and I can do other things at the same time.I bought a facial workout video once but it was slow and boring,needless to say after 3 hours of use (3 sessions)it was relegated to the back of the cabinet. However with this product I mastered the technique in seconds and will continue to use as I have been very encouraged thus far...

It's been 4 weeks and I can definitely see a difference in the structure of my cheeks and jawline. I can't wait to see what happens at 16 weeks!

I am using is for about 2 weeks and until now I don't notice any improvement, maybe it is to soon , I wil continue using it for at least 6 month and I'll re write.

I'm a 49 year old R.N. I'm science oriented and work with stroke patients from time to time. This seemed to make sense, so I ordered it from T.V. and have been using it faithfully since New Year's Day. My cheeks are firming up, deep frown lines minimizing and neck creepiness starting to diminish. This not only WORKS, but it's FUN! I highly recommend this and can't wait to see more results as time goes by. Love it!

At 52 years old my weight likes to fluctuate, when it does I gain and lose weight in my face. When I recently started to lose weight my face started to sag. One week of exercise twice per day has raised my cheekbones considerably. You can't do anything about the extra skin, but the protruding cheeks catch the eye and you don't notice the extra skin.
I would recommend this before you visit the plastic surgeon.

I have used Facial Flex for at least 5 years. I had to replace it because I lost the one I had. People say I look years younger than I am (64) and I think this product is the reason why. It just makes sense. I love it and would recommend it to anyone for a firmer, younger looking face.

I have been using the facial flex for about 3 month and I love the definition in my cheeks and under my chin. My face has a more contour appearance. I use it 3 times a day for a total count of 100 reps each time. To see results you have to do more repetitions that what the instructions says. But it definitely works!

I have been using this product religiously for about 7 months because my cheeks have started sagging and there is two deep lines around my cheeks and I am only 28. I have not seen any results yet and I feel like my lines are even getting deeper. I am sure I am using it correctly since I have watched the video several times. I am doing two repetitions of 120 a day. When will I see any results I do not know but I am very dissappointed with it.
Very good for toning facial muscles.

I've been using it for 4 minutes in the morning and 4 minutes in the evening and I do see my face toning up. I highly recommend it.

I've reviewed before but thought I'd say again how effective this product really is. It has a very simple yet so effective philosphy behind it and the results are obvious almost from the first use. I've been using it for around a year and a bit and have definitely noticed my face become more firm and contoured, my cheeks are firmer as is my jawline and the overall appearance of my face has changed noticeably. I use it in conjunction with the oxylight for skin (not muscles) and I think together they make the perfect skin therapy- certainly more worthwhile than blowing your money on buckets of makeup!

A month ago, I was looking at myself on the mirror, (I was just putting some make up on my face before I go to work) and I smile at me, and wow! I realise that there was two larges winkles on each side of my cheeks!
Woaw, Too bad I'm old! It was like I've never seen then before! That's when I decide it was now the time to buy the Facial flex.
Now there is a month since I'm using it, three times a day, (with 2 elastic bands) and I have really a good result:
My cheeks are a lot more firmer, and the two winkles have almost completely disappear when I smile, {I think that in a few days the facial flex will get rid of them}
I look younger and that's a goog thing, because I'm 45 years old.

I am 37yrs old and have always had a round chubby face. Well I purchased this Facil Flex via an ordering Channel too! I got one for me and 1 for my mother. Well only until recently I started using it. Granted I've had it for almost 1yr, stored in my dresser. Well One evening I Did like 3 sets of like 30; and let me tell you I felt it. So i knew something was working. I can feel the tone under my skin and I look at my face in the mirror and see a more shapely less round face. This is just a few days I use it. I know for sure, this is cheaper that plastic suregery!! Well...Everyone should try it and if you dont like it! Sell it on ebay!

I have been using this product for the past nine months and while there is a marked improvement in the jaw and chin area , it definetely does not work for the under eye area, but if sagging is around jawline is a problem then this product is worthwhile.

I purchased my unit over 8 years ago off Home Shopping Network. It cost me $89.00 plus tax and shipping. If you saw me you'd swear I was 27 when I am actually 37. I use my facial flex while surfing the net and have experienced excellent results when it comes to my cheeks,jaws,neck and mouth areas. This product is as effective as any electrical device without a flattening effect of the muscles and absolutely no soreness. P.S. If you run out of bands you can use orthodontic bands until you get more.
