singed hair!

This blowdryer is WAYYYY too hot. It actually just SINGED a huge chunk of hair from the back (crown) of my head! I had to pick out all the burned hair and now i need to go see a hairdresser to cut out the parts that didn't fall out! I'm SO FURIOUS!!!! Can NOT believe the story about the woman whose BANGS burned off on her wedding day with this dryer. Anyone had any luck with complaining to the compnay?

I agree that this hair dryer will dry your hair faster than some others...however, it gets entirely too hot. I can't even use it on my daughter's hair because it burns her scalp. I feel that for the money I paid for this product it should have more settings and not damage my hair. I used it on my Wedding day and watched my bangs burn off and fall into the sink...it completely burned and fried them. Beware!!

I used the dryer in the salon for about 6 months til it died. The norm for a hairstylist. My one complaint is that it is waaaayyyy too HOT, and does not have temp. controls, just high. It would burn my hands and actually burnt/fried one of my clients hair. It may be okay for thick hair that can handle high heat, but i would not suggest using it on fine thin hair! I do love how light weight and quiet it was though.

I had this hair dryer for 1 year and then it broke. In the last 2 to 3 months I had it...it started getting too hot and it would singe my hair. The motor started making strange sounds as well. For the money I paid I didn't expect this to happen in the 1st year I owned it. I wasn't happy at all with this product.
