ABSOLUTELY, there are 3 of us who use it in one household it is the best straightner ever. We have spent several dollars on other straightners that were not worth the price, this is worth every penny and then some!

sedu or solia?
okay i'm white and i have natural brown hair that i dyed a little darker. my hair is very thick, curly, and not very smooth. my birthday is coming up and i will have enough money to buy either the sedu 1" or solia 1" flat iron. i can't decide by the many reviews that say the sedu is better than the solia and that the solia is better than the sedu. is the sedu better or should i choose the solia?

Is this REALLY ceramic
I read that it is "fused" ceramic. What is "fused" Ceramic anyway? I was fooled once when I bought a "ceramic" flat iron which was really ceramic coated. Anyway I am torn b/w sedu and the FHI. I'm black so I need something that will REALLY straighten my thick wavy course hair. Is this FHI good? I want to buy the Sedu, but it is just too expensive. Also I live in Canada and with the shipping rate and money exchange it is too expensive. Anyway that is why I am interested in getting the FHI, I just want to know if it's good and does it have any flaws?

well im not sure about the fused thing, im sure it just means thats how the plates are "fused" to the body of the iron. but i have african american hair and it does a fantastic job of straightening my hair. you wont be disappointed the hear up time is like 5 seconds. and by the way you can tell what is real cermaic because the plates will darken in color when heated. and mine goes from a bright red to like a burgandy...it works good and doesnt burn my hair. try it if you havent already

I have an fhi. it works very well. but i wanted something even better so i bought the sedu not too long ago. personally i think the fhi is great for the price but if you want something better i would go with the sedu.
