Flip, twist, straighten and curl with this technologically advanced 11/4" ionic flat iron. Model 302RFI
Dry, damaged and frizzy hair has a
positive ionic charge. In order to balance that you need a negative ion ceramic
plate to neutralize the charge in the hair and thus create smoother, shinier and
calmer hair. Product Features: Fixed temperature of 410oF (210oC) 1 ¼" Plate size - perfect for short
to medium length hair! Ceramic Plates Automatic Sense Recovery System -
quickly recovers heat to ceramic plates Ultra fast heat up time 5-10
seconds to any temperature. 360o swivel cord connection to
avoid tangling Lightweight design One year manufacturers warranty
Caution: Avoid any direct skin contact with
the ceramic plates while they are hot. Never leave iron on when not in use. Keep
out of reach of children. Never place your iron in water. If iron falls into
water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water. Do not set the iron
on delicate cabinet surfaces or near any flammable materials. Set the iron on a
damp towel or place in an iron holder between uses. New wrap cord around the
ceramic plates until the entire iron has cooled down. Styling: -
Begin by taking a small section of
hair and running a comb through it to separate the strands. -
Place the combed section of hair
between the ceramic plates starting as close to the scalp as possible. Close
the iron with a light grip. -
Pull the iron away from the scalp
and let the hair glide through the plates. You should not feel the iron
gripping or pulling on your hair. -
Repeat this process throughout the
rest of your hair. -
In addition to straightening your
hair, your FHI styling iron can be used to create many different styles. You
may experiment by twisting your wrist to flip, twist, and curls your hair. Temperature: A steady red light means the iron is in the process of
heating up. A blinking red light means that the iron has reached the desired
temperature. No red light (with the switch in the on position) means that the
iron is in the process of decreasing the temperature to a lower setting. Product Reviews and Rating:

I really like the silky glide of this flat iron and it straightens in one stroke, the only problem I have is that it has no temperature setting. It goes up to 410 degrees which can only be used on thick hair and since my hair is thin that isn't a good idea. I would buy another FHI, but it would have to be temperature adjustable.
Works ok but...

Actually I made an error when purchasing. I had borrowed a similar FHI from my sister. I thought this model had a thermostat I could control. It does not and for my thicker, courser hair and just does not seem to get hot enough to get it pin straight. Works great on my daughter's hair which is slightly wavy my finer than mine.

I am an African American female who have used numerous department store flat irons. My friend suggested the FHI because she went 4 months without a relaxer and it looked as if she had a relaxer. My 5 year old has very thick coarse hair and the FHI straightens it better and quicker than a pressing comb.My caucasian and hispanic co workers want to borrow it all the time. Another good quality is it's quick and I only go through my hair once.Definitely worth the money!!
Working out well

For all of you ladies who are natural(meaning no perms, texturizers or kiddie perms) this is the flat iron for you. I have been natural for 7 years now and I have used many ceramic irons. This one gets my hair as close the way it looks when I leave the hair salon. The price was not bad either!
Great, but doesn't curl like a 1".

The 1 inch version curls as well as straightens, so I have one of each. Be careful not to drop to a tile floor, the hinge will shatter!
