Flip, twist, straighten and curl with this improved version of the original technologically advanced 1 ¾” ionic flat iron. Now, you can adjust the temperature of the iron to suit your hair type! Model 405RVI
Dry, damaged and frizzy hair has a positive ionic charge. In order to balance that you need a negative ion ceramic plate to neutralize the charge in the hair and thus create smoother, shinier and calmer hair. Product Features: Variable temperature of 140°F -
450°F (60°C – 232°C) 1 ¾” Plate size – perfect for
medium to long hair! Ceramic Plates Automatic Sense Recovery System -
quickly recovers heat to ceramic plates Ultra fast heat up time 5-10
seconds to any temperature. 360° swivel cord connection to
avoid tangling Lightweight design One year manufacturers warranty
Caution: Avoid any direct skin contact with
the ceramic plates while they are hot. Never leave iron on when not in use. Keep
out of reach of children. Never place your iron in water. If iron falls into
water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water. Do not set the iron
on delicate cabinet surfaces or near any flammable materials. Set the iron on a
damp towel or place in an iron holder between uses. New wrap cord around the
ceramic plates until the entire iron has cooled down. Styling: Begin by taking a small section of
hair and running a comb through it to separate the strands. Place the combed section of hair
between the ceramic plates starting as close to the scalp as possible. Close
the iron with a light grip. Pull the iron away from the scalp
and let the hair glide through the plates. You should not feel the iron
gripping or pulling on your hair. Repeat this process throughout the
rest of your hair. In addition to straightening your
hair, your FHI styling iron can be used to create many different styles. You
may experiment by twisting your wrist to flip, twist, and curls your hair. Temperature: A steady red
light means the iron is in the process of heating up. A blinking red light means
that the iron has reached the desired temperature. NO red light (with the switch
in the on position) means that the iron is in the process of decreasing the
temperature to a lower setting. Product Reviews and Rating:

I was fairly pleased with this product. I didn't get my hair quite as straight as my stylist got it, but that may just be technique. However, she did tell me to get an iron that went to at least 410 degrees for my hair type (African American, natural, tight curls). I had to put it all the way up to 450 degrees to begin to get it as straight as she got it. Overall, it's pretty good.

I purchased this flat iron and it was at my door step 2 days later. THANKYOU FOLICA!! This is an excellent flat iron. I'm a black woman with thick hair and the results looks as if I just walked out of the salon. My hair stylist uses the same flat iron and I wanted to have one of my own. I will never use nothing but ceramics ever again.

This is the 2nd FHI iron (same exact) that I purchased from Folica. My mother used mine and absolutely loved it. I bought my mother the same model for her birthday.

Customer Photo:

i have had my FHI for 2 years and i wouldn't trade it in for anything! i thought the 1 3/4" plates would be too small; the previous straightener i used was 3". the smaller plates do a better job at getting all of your hair straightened. i have the best of both worlds; i can have pin straight hair if i use an iron or have extremely curly hair by doing nothing. i don't have any frizzy spots when i am done straightening. i have had some hairs get CAUGHT on top of the plates but have not had hair torn out.
