yes you can, in fact I seldom use mine with out it being plugged in. For some reason I just think it works better when not on battery mode. | Outlet Range

I think you can but I use this product on my underarms, bikini, and legs. I use the Emjoi slim epilator on my upper lip, chin and eyebrows. I would recomend getting one of those for the face. |  | Reply by barbara

Emjoi is an epilator and we do not recommend usage on scalp since it can be very damaging to your scalp and hair follicle. |
