Worked as intended, although will not remove very short hairs, must then tweeze. Slight pricked feeling when removing fine hair but I think the sensitivity will lessen with continued use. Delivery was with other items and was prompt.

This got rave reviews from others and that is why I purchased it and it does the job somewhat but one must use it at least once a week as it doesn't get all of the hairs. I am somewhat satisfied but expected more....

I just got this product last night and my face is baby soft and clear. My makeup went on flawlessly. I have been using the larger Emjoi for years for underarm and bikini area until I got laser hair removal on those areas. The large Emjoi IS NOT to be used for facial hair!!! I also have had my face laser'd 10 times and was pleased with the results until I started using Rogaine for thinning hair. All the blond fuzz on my face (which lasers don't get) turned dark. My eyebrows started growing so fast I couldn't keep up with tweezing them and I actually started to grow hair on my forehead! After one use of the EpiSlim all my facial hair is gone. It hurt a bit but the laser hurts much, much more. You will get used to it very quickly. And please also note that the EpiSlim is not to be used for your legs. That is what the larger ones are for. I am extremely please with this product as I have been with all the Emjoi products. I was thinking about getting laser hair removal again but now I have save over a $1000 for multiple treatments. Good product. I have a serious problem with hair growth in my chin and the product work well. It tokk off the hair from the root, but do not clean the area completely. Hair need to have certain lenght for it to work. I did not find it painful, some areas develop a rash but not really significant. It's quicker than a twizzer but for finishing the area you would need to use the tweezers.

This product does what it is supposed to pulls out hair, but don't let anyone tell you its painless, because it hurts, but the pain is worth it, because it works really well. Sometimes I think it cuts the hair instead of pulling it out, but I can tell it pulls most of them out by the roots. Also sometimes you have to go back over the spot a few times. Not silent either. No more painful than plucking or waxing, it is better than anything else I have tried though. I will be buying a bigger one in the future. Also folica.com is an excellent company to work with, they sent my product in less than 24 hours from when i ordered it.

It lasts a long time on two AA batteries; trip to Mexico and another to Europe! Great for small areas of the body and for touch up on legs. Great value for the money, too.

This thing doesn't work well for me. It seems to just break off the hairs rather than actually pulling them out by the root, which doesn't accomplish much; and it misses more than half of them. Even going over the same area repeatedly didn't get all the hair, just generated quite a bit of pain. I wouldn't mind the pain part if it actually worked, but it didn't. I tried this on legs and bikini area rather than face, so maybe it's just the wrong tool. However, with the poor performance I got from this I won't be spending $100 for the bigger one - if it's the same technology I can't see why it would work any better.

its extremely loud and painful especially if you have thick hair. its good for little areas or smalled missed spots but thats it. overall it painful and if you can't take too much pain then i dont suggest it. i thought i'd get use to it eventually but NO it seems to be just as hard everytime.

This item does not meet any of my expectation. This product promised to decrease the frequency of tweezing but it did not remove any hair. I just used it and noticed in the mirror that the hairs are still there. Now my skin feels tender and I have to tweeze anyway. I'll probably never use it again.

This product scared me the first time I turned it on . . I couldn't imagine using it on my face, but it is really more gentle than it sounds.
I was very frustrated with the customer service of Folica, however. I ordered the product, was informed it was on back order, and then unexpectedly received it 3 months later with no warning. I had emailed Folica with no response, and had counted the order as ignored when a debit appeared on my account. Communication with customers should be better.
Not sure I like the pain.

I thought this was something different, but it works great if you missed a spot shaving. It definitely feels like someone is pulling each hair out individually. Not great for large areas.

Now, I have a serious problem with facial hair growth, and this is the first product that I have used that did not give me razor bumps (mind you I have never used a razor, its just the texture of my hair). Anything that can work these kinds of miracles is wonderful to me. So why four stars instead of five? It FRIGGIN hurts!! I had to do it over the weekend because it hurt so bad. The pain is worth it, but it really does hurt (and this is coming from someone with an extremely high tolerance for pain, I mean waxing didnt hurt this bad). If you are an African-American woman suffering from a facial hair problem, GET THIS!!

I haven't been using it long, so maybe that's why the hair seems to grow back faster than when I tweeze them, and it hurts when I try to use it above the upper lip...but I would recommend it over shaving any day.

Maybe I'm chicken and therefore not doing it right, but I still have to use this product nearly on my upper lip as much as I used the Finishing Touch.
It does hurt to use, but I am getting more used to it. Still, the hair seems to grow back quickly. I'm not sure I would recommend this product.

This little unit is effective for addressing mid-life facial fuzz...... some minor skin aggravation can result, in the cheek zone, but it can really help out w below the lip, even the lower arms. I did not find it could handle the random dark hair tweezing needs of the upper lip, but, again, it is good at the fine facial fuzz that begins to appear @ mid-life.
I'm glad I acquired it.

Thanks to this product...I don't have to shave that much anymore. I spend less time in the shower because I don't have to shave anymore. Because it battery operated...you can just about to remove hair in your legs anywhere! :)

I have struggled with facial hair all my life and have tried almost everything. This little gadget does the trick. I actually like that it doesn't remove ALL the hairs - it give a more natural look than having these bald patches on my face. To avoid bumps I clean the area with rubbing alchohol first, then after removing the hair I put on some neosporin. NO BUMPS! I love this thing, the very slight pain is worth it.

I have tried numerous facial hair removal items and nothing has worked to my satisfaction. That was until I purchased the epi slim. I also purchased it based on the reviews and I do not regret it! It was fast and for me, painless. I have very sensitive skin and was fearful of irritation but had none at all. And most importantly, the results were great. I would recommend this product to anyone.
If I'd only known sooner!

I bought the epi slim based on customer reviews and have found it to be exactly what I was looking for. The directions are easy to follow and I took the advice of one of the reviews and used a small ice pack before the treatment to take the sting away and it worked. The improvement was visible the first week. The hair is already coming in more like fuzz!

I used to get my chin and lip threaded, my chin would sometimes feel prickly with the new growth, but now with the EMJOI, I can remove the hair in the privacy of my own home with out any pain and without the pricklies, the regrowth feels alot softer now too. Love it.
